the reason people rely on other peoples opinion is no one wants to go buy and suck game spend 60 on it return for 30 credit and pay 60 for the game you probably would of known was better by reading reliable reviews

Trust me dude the animations and gameplay was considered very bad last year aswell. I switched it to Press Camera adjusted a few more things worked on the speed and Live looked and played much better.

It's no different from NHL or Madden the camera's are whack at DEFAULT but when EA actually allowed you to adjust the camera in Madden the view and game looked much better when in action. Samething for NHL go to Press View and the game looks better.

IS this the case with Live 07 who knows but I've done enough in years past with the game to know that the camera and speed settings does have an effect on the way the game looks and plays. That along with the fact that you have guy's playing the game at less than 100% and they don't seem to know what the heck they are doing is enough for me to take the waite and see approach.

That doesn't make sense. A camera can't change the ai or animations. It sounds like you wanted it to play better so you came up with a reason.

It's obvious your not reading what he's explaining to you. I used his Live 06 rosters and edits last year. He made the AI better because he tweaked the ratings of the players. He got the game to play much better because he set it up on the view that is furthest away from the court. It did appear to move and play much smoother on that view than it did with the games default camera angle last year. I couldn't find a camera last year that allowed me to enjoy Live 06 and the AI was down right horrible at first. But playmakers regardless if you agree with the guy or not did manage to improve the gameplay 10x's better than what EA released to us. Maybe the camera, animations and AI will all suck again this year. But what I do know is that the guy showed me a different game for Live 06 than I ever thought was possible.

Pressbox View allows the gamer to see the entire floor (or at least half of it). You can see passing lanes, cutting lanes, plays develop, etc.

Can it enhance gameplay? Yes.

Is that sufficient enough for you?

He didn't explain how the camera changed anything. I understand that his changes made the game more enjoyable for people but that has nothing to do with my question.

The camera opens up the court more for the user. The view is much better and believe it or not IMO for Live the game flowed much better on the higher view than it did on the Broadcast view. I don't know if by changing the camera actually makes things run smoother or not but what I noticed for Live 06 is that the game did play smoother the futher away from the court you got.

Up close everything seemed herky-jerky to me but when I pulled the camera away it ran smoother. It did this on both the Sideline camera and Press Box Camera. I'm not sure what your trying to get out me but if you haven't worked with the camera's or players I would imagine it's hard to tell really what type of game is going to be released.

Now, maybe none of that will work for Live 07 like it did for 06 but that's why I've repeatedly stated until the game is in my hands I can't make a judgement off of videos based on a build that is not complete or has guy's playing the game that doesn't seem to know what they are doing (IMO).

Now I'm just going to enjoy NHL 07 and when Live 07 is released I'll debate the game at that time. Right now it's not even worth anymore of my time. The game isn't due out until the end of september. There's no point in me discussing certain gameplay aspects that could factor into gameplay anymore right now.

I didn't play more than the 06 demo because of the camera. Not being able to see where teammates and defenders are does affect the gameplay.

I actually haven't seen many differing opinions when it comes to live 07. It seems to be universally regarded as terrible. Yeah it's good to actually play the game before declaring it a bad game but when you have a lot of the major gaming sites saying that it is terrible people get a little leery about spending their money on it.

I still don't know how a camera view can change the gameplay or the animations.

I can't believe anyone is excited for this game. It looks terrible, last year's game was the worst basketball game I've ever played, I would have rather played Atari 2600 basketball. Just a horrible game.
