YES the computer doesn't sub unless it is in foul trouble. So what I do(and yes I shouldn't have to do this) I just sub for the computer myself. I sub as if I was playing with that team then switch back to my team. It is tedious, but what can I do?

And this is why EA will never put out a polished product ever again. The game is subpar yet we bank our $50+ and that's all they care about.

Because we are sports fans we are very loyal...it's part of our DNA, this is why we love our sports, our local teams, and have our favorite players. But it's also why we plunk money every 4 months or so for products that are not finished and quite frankly continue to get worse. (Madden, Fight Nignt, M Madness, Live, etc).

EA has become solely about profits and money. I guess they are right, If it's in the game it's in the game. Pro sports is all about F' the fans, they'll be back, and getting that dough, and apparently now, so is sports gaming.

I felt the same way about the controls when 1st purchased, but I it flows like clockwork. Hell. I felt the same way about 2K7's controls until you get comfortable they can be a b#$##. Again give both game a true run, by that I mean more than 1-2 games and you will see that both are pretty good. My favorite is Live 07. The makeup of the game and the directionit's going, I call it a Fresh Feel to it is what has impressed me. PEACE!!!

Speed + Auto Sub's + Fatigue Effect = Sub's on both sides for me.

I'm not sure why people think the game doesn't allow subs. If you don't increase Fatigue Effect or you play shorter minutes why would they sub if they aren't getting tired or the game isn't long enough for them to get tired?

I purchased BOTH Live and 2K7 and about 1 full complete game of Live...I went back to the store and got my $49.99 back.

I DOWNLOADED nba live coz i knew that this game is not worth a single cent.
and that's it, the game sucks now i'm just waiting nba 2k7 to come out in europe...i'm done with live since 2003, where I discovered that playng sim games is way funnier....everybody who likes live is simply an ARCADE GAMER!so don't say it's better thank 2k7...at least you can say it's funnier,dunkier, fancier or whatever!!!!

I'm really trying to enjoy this game but I can't. Every time I put it in, within 10 minutes I take it out and put 2K7 in.

I really don't like how EA does business. It seems like they start with a new engine and then build on it, but the problem is they fix one thing at a time, taking them years to get the game right. Why can't they review everything and fix it. I can't wait 4-5 years to have a good game, that's not what I spend my $60.00 on. This game is a really big let down and expected it to be a little better than this. Usually EA excels in one aspect, but I struggle to find anything good about this game. They need to follow on direction(arcade or sim) and stick with it.

While no game is perfect (and I don't think anyone with half a heartbeat can say live is), it can play a good game of in the realm of realism basketball with the sliders. EA has a target audience, but gives effective sliders in this game to tweak it to your preference. I bought both games and will play both games. There is room in the universe for 2 solid games, even in Europe.

So, I see you are new to these boards...We don't do that here. OS is better than that. Take your act to IGN or the 2K boards for that crap.

Yeah there's been more and more of them popping up lately around here. Yesterday some fool was using slang and then got upset because no one knew what the hell he was talking about...............He was acting like he was back on the block somewhere until KDRE locked the thread up on his azz.
