you've got to be kidding! scrutinizing the coaches pivot turn during the huddle...but the crab walking, dribbling, back to the basket, dunk thru people and backboards and barrel chested players in live is better?

I don't have Live 07, but if you compare 2K6 animations to 2K7 there is a BIG difference. I'll take 2K6's animations over 2K7.

i play both live and 2k and every year i have played both series. Live i usually only play on PC because its the best version of live after all the mods and patches. however when it comes to the best simulation basketballl game 2k has always been my favorite. the closest that came to being as good as 2k was live 2005.

as somebody who has played every iteration of the 2k series i cant conceive how you would think that 2k6 has better animation in any sense then 2k7.

i personally have been extremely surprised with the level of animation in this game. i originally thought it would be the same as 2k6 with new jumper animations. i couldnt be more wrong because the amount of animation mechanics is outstanding.

2k6 is nowhere near as fluid in the animation department neither. in 2k6 there was a multitude of canned animations that you could not come out of.

i think what you are referring to when you speak of broken animations or the transitions is that now u can actually come out of these canned animations in 2k7. maybe that bothers you for some reason but for me its great because i know that i dont have to automatically get called for a charge because my player decided to do sumthing i cant stop and etc.

also if you are focused on the coachs pivot then maybe ur just looking a bit too much into it and should focus on what happeneing on the floor because the footwork in the game and in places like the post is absolutely excellent especially if you kno the right moves.

however u have a right to ur opinion so if you dont like the game then that sucks for u man. hope u find something you enjoy

Thanks that's exactly what i'm referring to and it does bother me cause 2K6 did not have this problem.

Honestly 2K7 does play a great game of BB and this I have never questioned but 2K6 was not a bad game to begin with.

It's not even comparable when you look at the animations live has, and the animations 2k7 has.

That goes as far signature jumpshots, celebrations, and so forth.

The gameplay is 10x better for 2k7 as well. It feels so realistic when you play, and when you play live, you feel like you're playing a somewhat "unrealistic" videogame.

IMO, you need to lay off the crack if you think live is better. The only edge it has is graphics.

I personally enjoy Live as well as 2K7 and I think Live is better, and I can assure you that I don't/have never done crack. If someone thinks Live is better, why come on this board and try to degrade them. Respect their opinion. Maybe I am taking it a little personal, its okay to hate this game or others but when silly, degrading, remarks about someone's personal liking of a game, that's not kool.

I come on here for info, impressions, positive feedback, also negative feedback, its the dumb stuff that ticks me off, most of us are "ADULTS" here, I'm sure some kids read this stuff, maybe we all, including myself should keep that in mind. PEACE!!!! and enjoy Live 07 as well as 2K7

I'm not going to say much because I'm writing the review but after playing Live with and without PM's sliders, I dont understand how anyone could like Live over 2K7. Live's audio presentation and player graphics are much better than 2k7 but the on the court action isnt even close. Some of the games animations are atrocious and the CPU's AI is very spotty. I would like to know what makes Live better when it comes to gameplay?

Also, if you think the transition animations in 2k7 are bad (I couldnt disagree with you more) you will hat Live 07. Things as small as players switching hands while dribbling looks messed up.

To me part of it is that its something new and different. I think that 2K has felt like the same game for about 3 years now. With the 360, EA has tore it all down in hopes to create a better game in the end. Live is not perfect, far from it. animations are spotty, etc, but its original gives you a new experience every game.

As of now the better game is 2K, but in a few years I think Live will be the better game. They are definetly headed in the right direction.

I guess I can understand that. I guess its different for me because I didnt like 2k6 alot and I played Live 06 alot with playmaker's sliders. One more question: Even if 2K feels the same the last 3 yrs...why does that matter if its a great game?
