Change of heart!!!

After playing this game for a week now, and making so many drastic changes. I have decided to let it go and take it back. The sad thing is I really love the direction this game is going but Damn!!! Playmaker and other guys have to do so much to get it to reflect what the Nba is.

I have been giving 2K7 some play the last day and a half and man this game is unreal. After installing Team specific playbooks and installing Bizcanos sliders, it is truly sim. The graphics in no way touch 07 but the animations player movement and AI is far superb than Live 07.

I feel bad after speaking so highly of live 07 but reality has set in for me. They are way behind of 2K7, again this is my personal opinion after giving both a fair try. PEACE!!!!

By the way I must give congrats to myself for reaching 500 post.

Your like me, I kept trying to give Live a chance but it is horrible. I wish I could have had two good basketball games.

Maybe it's just me, but I really like Live 07 more than 2K7. I have BOTH games, but I get easily bored playing 2K.

Yes I tweaked Live 07 to death via PM's Sliders & Playbooks....but to me the teams run their offense to almost perfection and the gameplay is actually very FUN once you get used to the controls and NOT compare it to 2K.

No doubt that 2K7 is the better, more polished NBA game on the market....but Live 07 is just more entertaining and I find myself playing it way more than 2K.

Just my opinion. I know many will disagree. Oh and before anyone asks.....NO I am not high or on drugs or taking any meds (or should be for that matter).

You're not alone. I have both and like both. I am playing Live alot more...I am getting realistic results with PM's adjustments and it is a blast to play.

I played 2k6 to death last year so that may have something to do with the "sameness" feeling. I will keep both for a while, but I will probably sell one at some point.

It's nice to have a choice.

You're actually one of the lucky few...guys who can enjoy both. Nothing wrong with that. Enjoy the season.

I felt the same way in the beginning about Live 07. It could be I've been playing B-ball for 30 years and 2K7 is just so much more realistic. Graphically Live 07 has this sewed up, but dribbling, smoothness of animations and overall play has just pissed me off. Ea is just not putting an effort into this game. There is no way in he-- they did not know that this game was not up to par. This game needs work, and a lot of it. Play 2K7 and you can see what I am talking about. I have been a fan of EA from day 1. But I am sorry, time for a change has come. That's not to say that I will not play this game later. I will not play it for $60 plus.

I honestly believe EA has no choice but make this game what it should be, with all the heat they are catching from the responses they are getting. It is really a shame what they are doing, but looks like it is starting to catch up to them. Apparently shareholders are not to happy about what is happening to their money. Glad this is finally happening, watch the Live 08 step up to the plate FINALLY. PEACE!!!!

Ditto. Live is really just making a living off its name. The game is so far behind 2k7, it is Dane Cook. I tried the sliders and thought I could deal with it until I played 2k7 again. Now I can't play Live anymore. Good thing I rented it. Please don't buy this game. It is the only way EA will improve this game!

to be fair... a video could be made showing the many bugs of 2k
just today I was playing 2k7 and the guy who wipes the floor decided to stay on the floor the whole game...yep right under the basket for all 4 quarters.
there are plenty of things in 2k that could be made into a lo-light reel.just the sound alone could be recorded and could make someones ears bleed.but its not cool to bust on 2k sports.

with that said 2k is still the better game....but I still feel like I'm playing the same game I've been playin since dreamcast ,with good updates.

You do realize that video is NBA Live 07 PC Version and NOT 360.....right?

Besides WHY do some people get their panties all in a wad about which game other people like? It's not like any of us work for either 2K or EA Sports. NOT everyone will have the same opinion. RESPECT THAT and quit trying so hard to sell others on what you like.

You prefer 2K over Live 07. Great. Enjoy your game. Others including myself prefer Live 07. So what? Who cares? It's just a damn video game and your money didn't go into purchasing it for me.
