Presto! the games MUCH better looking and it actually mimics what we see in NBA 2k8 just with the NBA Live graphics engine.

THIS helps with the "look" of animations AND it helps with the frame rate AND the way sometimes the passing ends up looking.

This is how I play...

How does the darkness in the crowd turn out once you changed the brightness?

wow that really works. Im not sure if ill move the camera but the brightness really does it. I always thought the players looked a little too dark as well as the crowd. Not every black guy is like michael finley

I haven't made a slider set becasue the demo time isn't enough to fairly access if things would work via a actual game however the camera settings i started tinkering with since i knew that the brightness/contrast is what helped with the framerate of last years game somewhat. I so i appllied that same theory here and it's really working for 08 nicely.

Definitely a good idea and judging by the videos posted by pastapadre, your brightness tweak will go a long way towards helping the crowd darkness in the game like you explained.

Can't wait for the game on Monday and your settings will be much appreciated when the full version comes out.

Going to try it out now, I'm pretty keen on live this year, i did alot of sliders and rosters in NBA 2k7 but thought i would try working on live this year so Tomba if you want help with your slider set let me know and maybe you can help with my rosters set..

Nice find tomba.

I'm going to waite and see what else you and playmakers do with the game this year. It's better than live 07 for sure and with you guy's work it should be pretty good.

Well i just tried this out in the demo.... all i can say is way! what a change. To the people that said the dunks,lay ups and shots were to "herky jerky" TRY THIS OUT!!! and what a change to the arena! great find Tomba
