The game looks way too bright on my Samsung 46" DLP HDTV w/ the "bightness" increased by 1 click.

Unfortunely ONLY the "games" brightness control works if you already have your tv bright in genral it won't work. it's an EA calibration thing. you have to actually dum down your set so that the brightness can be controlled by the game itself.

I've left the "Brightness" at default and turned down "Contrast" by 1 notch and it looks and plays much better for me and my HDTV display.

I suggest others give this a try.

I tried Tomba's setting for a while but for me I am satisfied the default settings the game provides. After putting some quality PT in this game, I am really enjoying what it has to offer. Peace!!!

Personally, I have to say what you and playmaker offer for this game is worth while. Everybody loves to knock Live, because well it's no 2k8 bla bla bla.... Honestly, Live looks great, plays great and for all the people that love to pick out the little things wrong with everything... how do you ever enjoy any game?

If you play Live for what it is and don't even think about 2k8, you will enjoy this game and should be happy with an excellent product and the rebirth of the Live franchise..

Well since i wanted 2k and all i found was live. So when i 1st started playing it i didn't like it much b/c i would find stuff that 2k does better. And try to play it like its 2k. But once i just stopped thinkin bout 2k i been having fun with it. No its not nba2k8 but once you get that out your mind its fun.I still would pick nba2k over live everytime but its a nice change. 2k will be my Sim/hardcore game and Live will be my pick up play Fun game.

Hopefully it's not all that bad when things do get tweaked.
i for one first HATED this game but then the demo was just something I played OVER and OVER and OVER again... I really like it now. i have not fallin in love with 2k8 because for me the demo was horrible ,but that's MY personal take on the 2k8"Demo" only I've been reading that the full version is godly though so who knows but not right now ...later i'm here for the Live guys

nah tommorrow morning past 10am. they had the game in today but they wouldn't fork my cpy over. i was just bein nice "yeah, i wouldn't wanna drive all the way back here if you have it already etc' plus it was guy i knew of all things. guess EB/gamestop will fire some managers if word got out

Other than a few slider modifications....this game looks, plays and feels great!

I'm currently playing it at default and I have no issues or gripes whatsoever.

I plan on getting 2K8 this week as well, but Live 08 is easily better than 2K7.

Kudoes to EA for a great basketball game this year!!! I'm having a blast playing Live 08!!!

I don't see an option to change the brightness level. When I go to visual settings I see that you can change the brightness on your tv, but no actual setting in the game. Am I missing something? I really want to brighten the crowds up, every arena is not the Staples Center.
