Personally, i loved Live '08, still play it today. One of the most fun b-ball games i've ever played and i didn't touch the sliders.

Yeah I got my check yesterday, for negative $10,000. and zero pennies. I'm just as rich yesterday as I was the week before.(sarcasm) but no I like both companies and I do what I can to help bring less bias acts to OS.
I've read some other forums, talk about how this forum has become pro 2ksports, and that's why a lot of people have left here or haven't posted in months.
I'm trying to show that EA is just as important as 2k is, and trying to open up some bias eyes, to have a second options and basketball games.
We can have more than 1 basketball per year to enjoy!

I stopped after the awkward tip-off and Rondo cheesing his way to an easy lay-up. But hey, I lasted a few seconds.
Truth be told, I actually am looking forward to Live 09 because, from what I've heard, it's going to be more like FIFA 08 than Live 08. Live 08's just not my cup of tea.Comment

If that's the game when it's good then that's a pretty bad game. Looked horrible from the animation of the starting tip.
I used to be a huge Live fan, but seriously, it's terrible now. Do yourself a favor and make the switch, play 2k, it's like how Live used to be. The best bball game out there.Blackhawks - Bulls - Cubs - BearsComment

The only reason I don't play Live is because of all the awkwardness. The player movement/jumping (the tip is a perfect example).
But I will say that the sliders did help the game. When I'm at my boys house we can only play Live, and the sliders did help improve the game. Too bad it can't do anything about the player movement.Comment

I grew up, and learn to except change. And except choice, and the fact that we can have more than 1.
I stopped being petty over little things, and learned to appreciate them for the efforts that were made. Plus I noticed they moved a little behind 2ksports, but they moved ahead of 2ksports in other areas. For those reasons, I saw they were trying just not in the same directions.Comment
