Guys if you have any OTP questions, post them in here and I'll try to get them answered.

Can you call plays? If not, you can ignore the other questions.

If we can though, who calls the plays? Is it the PG, any player, or is there a team captain or some other way of handling it?

Once a play is called, is there play art for each player so that they know their responsibilities on the play?

A couple more questions:

1)Will there be leaderboards to show who are the best players at each position? I know that we are going to have ratings according to how well we handled our position-specific duties, so will there be a leaderboard that shows which players are the best?

2)In calculating our ratings, will the game take into account which player you are controlling? For example, its not hard to get a high overall SG rating when you are using the Lakers (Bryant) all the time, but it might be when you are using the Phoenix Suns (Bell,Giricek)

Any plans for OTP leagues/tournaments? Managing a league with 150 people in it would be absolutely crazy, but I'm sure there's someone willing to try. Failing that, some tournaments with the clubs/teams would be great.

Can the captain assign users to certain positions/players, or will it still be a mad dash for Kobe every time? Or at least an option where the captain has total control of the users and who they will control?

Mid-game boots and/or mid-game replacements when people drop?

And yeah, more information (controls if possible) regarding setting picks and calling plays in this mode. I'll echo the question above basically... who calls the plays? And will diagrams show up for the other players to show them where they need to be?

was wondering if players with mics and players w/o mics will be divided up? or will it be similar to last year where players with mics played with players who didn't have mics?

Will there be an option for human vs CPU in OTP? It shouldn't always have to be human vs human. 2-5 humans should be able to play the CPU in an unranked match. Having humans vs the CPU would be a great asset to the club system because it would give you a chance to practice and build up team chemistry. You could also filter out the cheesers and non-team players before getting into a ranked match.

1. Anyone can call a play online, and art shows up for everyone to follow.

2. Leaderboards: yes, we have a scouting page for each position. You can look at ‘Point Guards’ for example, and sort everyone by any stat category.

3. OTP Leagues/Tourneys: OTP Clubs essentially works like a big league. All teams are put in a ladder division style structure; as you win, you move up your division and into a higher one. #1 in Division #1 is the ultimate goal. Aside from that, no plans for tournaments in the 09 product.

4. OTP Human vs. CPU: One side needs at least 1 human player, so the most you can do it 5 vs. 1.

Hey, I was asking Pastapadre about this last week and he has yet to find out from Julien. Chase, do substitutions still have to be done by pausing the game? Or can the captain do them on the run without having to pause? Thanks!

I'm sorry I wasn't clear.. I mean during Online Team Play session. what if our Kobe Bryant gets disconnected? Will Kobe be CPU controlled? Thank you.

<JC> Yes, The only player who can do a substitution is the person who pauses the game. Each team has 2 pauses per quarter.

-What if a human controlled Kobe Bryant gets disconnected? Will Kobe be CPU controlled for the rest of the game still or can someone switch to him?

<JC> Kobe would be controlled by the CPU until the end of the game. Please remember that the clubs will reduce the disconnections significantly, since users will get to know each other.

<JC> Clubs and Clubs tryout are always ranked (and locked to a player), but we also have unranked OTP where players can choose the ANY position
