All this in SUPERSTAR LEVEL.

Dunk/Layup release timing , like the shot timing.

A new block system, that is ;If you press the turbo and block buttons at same time>
A Circle with "the ball and one hand" into the circle will start a "microgame"(GGG) to atempt to block the ball.
With the left analog stick the hand will be controlled to touch the ball.A big blocker player would have a bigger hand.
The same "microgame" could be for to Steal the ball, pressing Turbo + steal buttons.

These "microgames" could be a big skill if they are trained.
I KNOW THAT IT IS DIFFICULT TO develop , the more important stuff is the time used to the "microgame"
The time couldnt be more than 1 second.
The location and time in the offense play would be very important, if try to block or steal at no precise(+ or -) time the ball player can drive,driblling,shot,.. without your

opposition.

The LUCK will take a big point.(like in real Basket)

can we please see jump balls next year or actually this year, but in all seriousness please please i want to see jump balls in live 10. I want the jump music going and marv saying and so and so ties it up we have a jump ball, or something along the lines of that.

A really big issue of mine and probabley everyone else is if the ball goes off the backboard, 98% of the time it is a miss its practicley impossible to hit a bank shot.

General Gameplay

- Better Rebounding (this keeps being said and I hope its fixed)

- Fix the DEFENSE (get rid of the suction defense and make it matter, same goes for blocks they are non existent right now)

- FATIGUE (NO MORE CROSS, SPIN, CROSS, CROSS DUNK IN TRAFFIC)

- better post play (mostly all of the post moves are cheesy, overused and look horrible)

- Make player height and weight matter AKA collision detection ...its not easy colliding with shaq...specially if your bobby jackson

- Diving for balls (like pac10 said because players just look at it roll out of bounds)

- More immersive arenas

- Half time highlights and replays (maybe a halftime show setup with a couple of announcers where they go over the top plays)

- A street mode could be cool....with 2v2 3v3 4v4 5v5

The online aspect gets overlooked way to much here are things I would like to see

Online

- I like the idea of EA lockers, make sure you can share rosters, player edits and settings with other users like those on your friends list (specially for PS3.... don't screw trey owners over)

- Another thing with the lockers maybe put together some tools so that we the users can create some sort of DLC for ourselves. Maybe a jersey creator or and accessory creator or even a shoe creator that we could download through our locker or that others could download to use. ( I would really like to see this)

- SUPERSTAR ranked rooms (THIS IS A MUST)

- make fatigue matter online or align it with the superstar rated rooms..tired of the online 1 man cheesers

- Fix the outlet pass/automatic layup glitch

- Also have rooms where we can use our own settings and rosters and even created players. Maybe call it Anything Goes or something like that. It would be cool for me to play against a friend setting up our own rules and settings.

- Probably to late for this but try to get something like NHL 09 hockey league...this is one of the greatest modes for a online sports game u guys should try it.

I got more ideas coming for the online cuz thats mostly wat I play

bring back old school legends and/or old school teams. Bring back old chicago bulls pippen and rodman and old teams such as orlando magic back when shaq was with orlando magic and have the current new teams. History mode and have michael jordan on the cover for the new xbox feature xbox console. xbox 720? xbox3? the whole point of this is to have michael jordan on the new generation console or 2010. that would be my wish.
bring back larry bird, charles barkley, magic johnson. add the slam dunk competition dunks on there. I would like to see Dwight howard on a future cover too.

More contact on penetrations (and I mean a lot more). Not just big faults, with people going to the ground. There's a lot of contact (not necessarily a fault) in the NBA.
