you guys sound like you have got a ton of great things coming for next year.. the sig shot arc types are just another thing that shows the work you guys are putting in.. that is one thing i hate about 09 is that you can tell when a shot is going in (the high arc thing).. but that's gone for next year so that is fabulous. so yeah,i just wanted to say, we're Really looking forward to Live 10, and we appreciate the good work

I'm guessing for created players it will just be a medium arc?

John Salmons and Derrick Rose use to shot with low arc. At least yesterday.

Ok,i've finally figured out what i don't like about the shooting animation in Live 09..

            1. not enough "lift" or "explosion" in the jump shot

            2. the animation is way to quick

is this something your looking at stephensonmc?? (or am i pick too picky )

I personally am not looking at this. Well, let me rephrase, I am looking at it, but I'm not working on it. Beluba aka Mike is working on this.

stephensonmc have you and rest of Live development team worked much with the NCAA Basketball development team in regards to shooting styles and arc's along with what they think their ratings in NBA Live could be.

It was more a general curiousity question I am asking in this case.

Don't know if this is already posted, but Pau Gasol has a very high arc jumper.

I just thought I'd pop in here to say I hope that we can still arc shots over the top of a defensive close-out even with guys who have line drive shot arcs.

Oh, and Ben Wallace has a lot of arc on his FTs. No games seem to realize this.

                                Re: Signature Shot Arc Types

Will these different types of shot arcs be effected by physics? For example, if a high arcing shot misses the ball has a higher chance of bouncing up and back in or near the hoop, or over the backboard. A flat shot that misses will bounce hard off the back of the rim and will have the possibility of a long rebound. This would be awesome if it wasn't just for looks and had an actual effect on gameplay. I also hope that there are a variety of animations for baskets and not always be a swish.

BTW, Rudy Fernandez has a high arcing shot.
