is the controls in the videos a combination of the left stick and the right thumbstick like jeff said in the blog? or is it just using the left stick only to show what u can do with it?

The player movement is night and day better than past Lives. It's a lot smoother and realistic. After seeing these I'm more convinced that Live will be really good this year.Comment

Sounds and looks good.
Player movement is a big thing for me.
I've been waiting for a game to have top notch player movement. Not only when you call a play, but when a team is just running a basic team set.
Hopefully it is implemented well in the full game.Comment

so you just hold down a button for those size up moves? They look great. Hopefully the defender will be able to disrupt it in some fashion and won't just turn into a fan on the court just watching. I know the video was meant to show off dribbles so hopefully that's why there was no collision detection on drives to the paint. That's the best Live has ever looked from an animation standpoint imo.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment
