I really liked what I saw. Greatly improved from last year. This is going to be a great year for basketball (gaming). I like what the "other" company is trying to do with their also.

But one thing, to some of the ppl who credits one man for this product, that isn't right. It takes a whole team to put together these projects. And to credit one man, is a slap in the face to others who work just as hard. So give the whole team some credit.

The only thing that I think needs to be re-done for next year is the whole free throw mechanic.

It look's a tad bit better than 09 but it still looks robotic in the way the players shoot it, or maybe it's just me. Not sure.

Other than that this look's amazing. I can't wait until the demo drops.

It's been mentioned before, they are playing at a lower difficulty. They are playing on Rookie or Pro.

Also, how do you expect proper defense to be played when guys are running around like maniacs? Any game would look like a run-a-thon if all anyone did was run a lot.

I'd like to see someone play on All-Star and try to run like that. If they struggle then that's the best sign.

I bet IGN rates this game low just because of that. They'll play on All-Star, struggle, and then complain that the gameplay is abusive to the user, knocking off about 10 points.

I'm not going to be too hard on live based on these vids. The worst showcase of a game is to have people play it who don't really know how..and then video tape it. I can't realistically judge the game too harshly for that fact.

loved the benches and the pace. Animations are better than 09 by a mile. It still looked a bit stiff though imo. That size up dribble looks like it will not be super effective in game (good). Game is not done yet.

Ha, they're German man... most of the people going there probably aren't NBA fans and probably haven't watched much basketball at all since the Euroleague isn't as big there as the NBA is here.

But yeah, this does speak to the need of having some sim players getting their hands on early copies of the game to release these types of videos. OS beta testers? Come on Marcus, you know you love us.

Man, they and Europeans in general watch Nba - A LOT.. in HD..

Euroleague is BIG, mostly in Greece, Spain and Italy

No running plays on offense, no setting up defense, Bynum with the ill crossover and easy 3's.

Looks like what I had to deal with when playing Live online last year! lol Oh you casuals...

Lots of bad there, including the ball going through players and some warping, things that weren't there as much last year.

Passing physics are still off. Not as bad as last year but still too floaty at times when something crisp is needed.

Smoothness for the WIN!

I've mentioned it before, but the jittery and robotic player movements is what prevented me from keeping Live last year. That was it. Nothing more, nothing less.

I tried to tell myself, "I'll get used to the player movements and I won't even notice anymore."

That never happened and the game was returned. LOL.

From this video, and others shown as well, I can really see how much smoother this game really is. Such a HUGE improvement in this area. It was their biggest problem last year, IMO.

Same. I hated the herky/jerky that was Live '09. The animations look smoothed out but there are times where they still look to robotic, especially on Dwight's jump hooks.

Also, what's up with the celebrating after a foul is called? They celebrate harder after a foul than after a bucket.
