Hey blueprint, trailers are always a different story. But don't give up just by watching a low quality vid. Read my impression and DaWolf's one. As for me I am not trying to hype the game or anything. It's just an honest opinion from somebody who used to play 2k the past years and just wants the best BB-Game regardless of the Company producing it.

I am looking forward for you to play the demo and hear your opinion.:wink:

I think people need to read more impressions of people who actually played it instead of just watching the videos. (Including the media sites) There's a TON of good info about LIVE this year. Them saying it's a completely different game should hold some weight since it's your peers.

If it wasn't for the Larry O'Brien trophy on center court, I would have sworn that this was Live 09.

The game looked and played just like last year's version and the SAME flaws have apparently not been addressed. From the appearance of this demo...Live 10 looks just like a roster update w/ few minor cosmetic improvements than Live 09.

So much for the hype.

What flaws are you seeing? How exactly does it look like LIVE 09? How is it that you're saying this, but 99% of the other guys in these threads think differently along with media sites? Just trying to get some clarification out of you my man.

seriously have u played the game? u going by gameplay from a ****ty youtube video and get real the presentation gameplay etc. was NOTHING compared to Live 09

Another thing guys -- you're seeing gameplay videos of NBA LIVE 10.

We've shown you them ourselves and you've seen these. Not trying to compare, start a war or anything like that, but when our competition does this, let me know. In my opinion, they'd be crazy to show 3 minutes of unedited game footage like we're going to do this week. Why? Because there is no doubt that you'll see alot of stuff you don't like. Why is that? That's video games folks. Halo's sword was so powerful, Grand Theft Auto IV sucked walking around / camera, Madden didn't have hand towels for quite a while, and NBA LIVE 10 doesn't have Kobe's Free Throw routine. LIVE 10 will not be perfect, a will have problems that you guys won't like. BUT - LIVE 10 is a very good basketball game that if given the chance, you'll discover the depth and fun that's in the game.

And then just think about the videos you all are seeing from Germany. They're not HD, they're being played by guys who have never played the game before, don't know the revamped controls. You combine these two, and the videos were setup to fail. This isn't a knock on the guys at all, but our game has a learning curve this year. Anyone can make this game look bad if you don't know what you're doing from the controls side. If you do something wrong in LIVE this year, it's your fault.



We showed you gameplay because that's the most important thing to you guys. We could've continued to put trailers together showcasing cool moments in the game, while focusing on one player or matchup and leaving out the off ball movement, etc for people to nitpick at. We didn't. We feel confident in our game enough to show you guys the full thing. We know you're not going to like everything, but we know the informed guys will notice huge differences from last year to this year.

Demo is coming shortly, let us know what all of you think then for sure!

Well said!!!! I just hope the football pass to the Center and PF down the court before everyone else fastbreaks is fix. If that's fix along with the defensive matchups than I'm good to go. Definitely appreciate the effort. Can't wait for the demo.

DID you not read where i said that i have to try the DEMO. I think some of you people try to force peolpe to like what you like or see what you see. I have my own mind, likes and dislikes. I didnt make any negative comments about the game, all i said was i was more impressed by the trailers then the actual gameplay. I really cant spend much time in the NBA Live section, because you cant even have your own opinion.

You don't like the game, so be it..I could care less if you like this game or that game, but don't come here making stuff up like saying that the game is the same as last year..

there is a difference between having your own opinion and making stuff up and you saying the game is the same is MAKING STUFF UP

But steph i respect that you guys keep in touch with the nba bball fans. It goes a long way in the end and honestly i know you guys really tried and put alot of work into fixing the foundation of the game of live as you guys have stated. So freethrow and all that stuff really dont matter to me if the gameplay sucks. So all im looking forward to in live 10 is a good foundation will build on for live 11,12,13, you get the point lol.

highlighted part = pure beauty. because its so fricken true. the competition does the "sugar coated" moments in the game that are less than 1% of the experience instead of showing un-edited footage, raw.

you guys have a solid game to back it up so thats why you ARE doing this.
