It looked an awful lot like his shot in the gameplay vid I saw. The routine was definitely kobes. The shot maybe or maybe not.

I know he didn't hold his arm up like in 2k9 and IRL. 2k9 has FT routines down.

Hmm, i'm talkin about live 10 where I saw kobe wipe his hands and whatever. Not sure about the shot though.

Actually, in live 09 Kobe does have his sig ft routine and shot. Just look at the create a player mode and youll see it there.

Live 10 was the exact same thing, too.

Didn't wang do all of the FT routines for 2k8? and didn't alot of those make it into 2k9? I'm sure we'll have some FT player specific routines.

No, Kobe's exact routine goes like this:

-Spin dribble
-Wipes hands before ball comes back to him
-Catches ball
-Two dribbles
-Shoot

Sometimes he wipes his hands before the ref gives him the ball, but regardless, Live didn't have it right. 2K9 had it perfect.

lol, I've been watching Lakers games since I was 5 years old, and obviously Kobe since he came in the league...and I couldn't even tell you that, nor would I care enough that it be in the game.

It would be a really nice touch, sure, but you guys act like it's a game killer.

I'm glad the devs spent most of their time revamping the gameplay, mechanics, controls, defense etc.

Imagine if we got the exact same game as last year but with all the FT routines, lol, would you be happy then? (well, I already know the answer to that, because you're never happy with Live. You just post nothing but your nitpick of the day...I wonder how much enjoyment you get out of any video game).

Freethrow routines don't make or break a game....I could care less if each player shot a freethrow like their real life counter parts

I'm more worried about the actual free throw shot. The only free throw routines I would be disappointed not seeing would be the real crazy ones (Arenas, Rip). Anyways just my 2 cents on the subject.:wink:

Nobody said it was a game killer, but its a nice touch that the other game had last year that I wish they added. It would only enhance the experience. I don't see the problem wanting something that was kool to see in the other game, added to Live 10, which looks to be a great bball game this year.

totally agree with you. We had to play catchup in so many other areas, we had to give on something. This isn't a one year, be the best game ever kind of thing. Give the time that was given to us, this is the best NBA LIVE we've done, and I think our game stands on it's own.
