Ugh. That ugly turn around fade that EVERY player does when they catch the ball and shoot with there back to the basket needs to be removed.

I'm having quite a few blocks with e.g. Kobe.
              Yes it is true.Thank you.

              Only 1 thing.

              The Go to move signatures?
Now, the back down an fade away shot is the same for all players.
The signature go to move must to be in Live , it is a Nba Live identification signal.

On the offensive side of things, the big thing is of course the back-down button. And we've been told that will be rectified with the patch, so no worries there. My other concern on offense is that the new momentum concept, while a very cool concept, may have been a little over-executed. What I mean by that is, often a player's momentum will cause him to take a running jumper or off-balance shot when all I wanted him to do was take a basic straight-up jumpshot.

But my major, major concern with Live 10 is on the defensive end... As has been mentioned by others, blocking should be tweaked if at all possible. It is really awkward and difficult to pull off. Also, stealing the ball is particularly hard to do. Even if I'm standing directly in front of an opposing player, and his teammate attempts to pass him the ball, my perfectly-positioned body doesn't seem to help me whatsoever. The opposing player will successfully receive the pass as though my player doesn't even exist.

This game has a lot of potential so hopefully some of these issues can be addressed in the patch.

i just got done playing the demo again and can yall please take out that ugly one hand alley oop. It just look so unrealistic when they catch an alley with one hand. Maybe if it was caught a different way or something and i also just saw it a couple of times in the adidas live run videos.

oooh that just look so ugly to me...it just take that excitement out of the alley when they catch it like that. I don't know if yall can take it out and replace it with more two handed dunks off the alley...but at least have it taken out when the patch comes in.

Can yall add animations through a patch? If so plz have them catch alley's a different way.

Agreed. I don't want to handle an extra button for something so basic.
The game does it quite good most of the time. My only gripe is when the offensive player gets the ball, usually in the paint, then faces the basket and his defender stands there, calmed, without a basic defensive position, just looking into his eyes, waiting for love to come :O

Sometimes, when I'm the offensive player, CPU steals the ball, which makes sense.

I'm now able to pull of quite some blocks and steals, but that is after playing more than 10 games. It's really possible once you get used to it and understand how to do it.

                      Blocks require anticipation.

Steals: the first couple of games I did it 2K style (because I'm so used to 2K9), so I mashed the steal button, which resulted in my player getting a couple of fouls or the opponent blowing by me. Timing and position seems to be important. I'm now able to get pick the ball out of the opponent's hands more, but not too often (which would be unrealistic anyway).

                          1. Actually may be more of a bug, but I just played a couple of games where the camera wouldn't go all the way to my end of the court so that I could see the basket. Theonly way to fix it was to restart the demo.

                          2. I'd like the double team button to be more of a toggle like it used to be way back when... To me this would make playing D w/the user controlled "double teamer" much easier. Currently I have to use a "heel toe" type method (for all you race car drivers) that makes contesting shots and or swiping at the ball while you have the offensive player double teamed kind of difficult. For me I'd prefer to tap the button to call the double team and tap it again or the offensive player passes the ball to call of the double team and maybe just hold it down to "show the double team without committing" On this one it may be some what of a toggle because it seems I can let go of the double team button once they commit but if that is the case I'd rather have it hold to show then tap to commit for the same reason listed above. I'd rather be able to do other actions while I am tied up waiting fro the extra defender to arrive

                          3. If possible make a defensive stance or basically forearm in the back button for the off ball defender that's fighting for position in the post. I've been trying to see the problems others complain about when they say there are not many options on D. If there was some way to fight your man in the post when playing D before he receives the ball that would help so why can't the the same button patched-in to make manual post on offense be manual forearm in the back on D?

I say wait and see what the actual game plays like. Some of the things that people are asking for are drastic changes in the core gameplay. Be very cautious EA devs, the game is going in the right direction. I like the way defense is implemented and the auto post. This helps stop the cheese, yet you can still drive into the paint and make a decision of pass or shoot. I do not want 09, keep this game 2010 please!

Why are you all requesting things to be patched when you haven't even played the ACTUAL GAME= Final Build.....SMH

And don't you think this makes NBA Live 10 look bad? I mean you are asking for a patch after playing the DEMO which is not the final build....WOW! lol

Did they say if this is going to be a first day patch or later on?
I'm interested because the only thing holding me back from getting this game is the lack of a back-down button...
