Re: NBA Live 10 Patch Request Thread
I'm not 100% sure but i think it's the (RB) button to post up. I also would like to see an automatic switch to pg after scoring a basket..... and yes i know someone already said that, but i'm just saying i would like to see it patched up also.Comment

Re: NBA Live 10 Patch Request Thread
I agree completely on the auto-switch to PG after made baskets.
Also, I think the playcalling system would function more smoothly if you could actually just stand neutral and hit A when it lights up to pass to the designated man. I have too many broken plays trying to use normal passing and the other options are sometimes cumbersome when you're trying to get it to the correct man quickly and on-time. Changing it so a neutral press of A makes the right pass would be great and then you can still use the other passing types as well as using LS plus normal pass to break out of the play or whatever.
Seems like a source of confusion for people in playcalling too... seem lots of people confused on how that works.
It's not a big deal. But I think it would make things a lot more user friendly if this was implemented.
I also think something should be done about layups/dunks being triggered so far away from the basket. There are many times where I drive and try to pull up at or around the free throw area for a jumper, where my man will go in for a lay up.
Not sure if something can be done about this. But it would be great if it could get patched.Comment

Like It says in the Hangar make sure your left stick is neutral to do a pull up jumper.

Re: NBA Live 10 Patch Request Thread
Please, fix the Wizards home bench location.
It should be on the left side of the screen in broadcast view, instead of the right side of the screen as seen in the IGN drive the lane vids.
I know this requests is not demo or gameplay related but, it's a big deal for me because that's the team I will use in season mode. And the Verizon Center looks out of whack with the benches on the wrong side.Comment

I'd also like to add a vote for putting numbers on sliders. I have no idea why they don't have numbers already.Comment

Re: NBA Live 10 Patch Request Thread
While not being able to play the game (PS3 user), I think I have a great grasp on the legitimate issues that have occured during the demo. Some of the things you guys mentioned, as Playmakers has suggested, can be fixed via sliders. This is my issue though.. can these sliders we edit be used for online play against opponents? I hate having to play offline all the time because of heavily edited sliders and not getting the same type of experience by default and online settings. Hate to bring it up, but myself and a few others completely revamped 2k9 and the game was much more realistic, but we were stuck playing the game offline because of the dramatic difference between edited sliders/rosters and online play. This would make the game much more enjoyable and last longer throughout a season if we could do this. Have a custom game with edited sliders available and you can play with select opponents who are aware of the type of game you're playing and agree with it.
As far as patches go, Beluba has already stated the "prancing animation" after made baskets will be patched. That happens WAY too much and I haven't even played the game, as evident by the videos posted here and on youtube. I vote for the numbers to be on the sliders, as well. The auto switch to PG seems like a great idea. If the rocket dunks are still a problem, I'd almost suggest taking them completely out of the game, if possible. Not sure if that's a realistic option as it may hinder overall gameplay. The out-of-bounds issue bothers me, honestly. I'm sure this doesn't happen regularly, but it's something that shouldn't be happening in a 2010 game. I hope something can be done there, I'm sure it depends on the user too and how they play. It'd become very frustrating not being able to drive baseline and utilize that part of the game because of an issue like this though.Last edited by HoosierDaddy; 09-14-2009, 08:55 AM.Comment

Re: NBA Live 10 Patch Request Thread
the big thing for me is an alternate control configuration that switches B/O with X/Square so we can shoot with B.
Hell, I would love for them to patch in a screen that would let us custom configure the entire control layout.
That is #1 for me because seriously, I doubt I will play Live 10 much because of shooting with X.NBA 2K11 Community Site Mix

Re: NBA Live 10 Patch Request Thread
my thing is i hope they can patch the amount of turnovers when driving in the lane. It seems like even with a good dribbler like kobe when i drive in the lane i lose the ball everytime. I don't mind it happening but it shouldn't happen everytime you attack the basket.
In other words its just too many steals or turnovers when you are in the paint.Comment

Re: NBA Live 10 Patch Request Thread
-Icon passing needs patching as there is a slight delay and the throw is always slow too. Needs to be at the speed of right stick passing.
-The players jump too high or are too big compared to everything else.
-Switch shoot to B
-Need a post up and block out button
-The right stick should let you lock down and strafe on defenseComment

Re: NBA Live 10 Patch Request Thread
A brightness/contrast control is needed. The players are way too shiny, especially in the Hangar. Having a calibrated HDTV changing the settings for one game isnt acceptible. Im really surprised that the demo was released with such a "glaring" defect.Comment

If I'm not mistaken, they had one last year. I'm sure it'll be there this year too.Comment
