^^
Me either. I would have preferred time spent on a deep single player campaign. Oh well maybe next year.Comment

Re: Dynamic Season & Live Run details
But really, here goes.
The first way to use this feature:
You pick the Warriors and you play your season. As you progress through your season, all other games are simulated following the real NBA season. So, if the Jazz and Spurs played in real life and the Jazz won 101-95, that will show up in your season. The points scored by Boozer will also reflect his performance in the real NBA season.
The only results you'll change are the ones from your own games. If the real NBA Warriors lose to the Lakers, but you beat them in your Live season then your win will be reflected in your season.
The second way to play.
Now you can choose to play any other game you want. So, lets say you wanted to play that Jazz vs. Spurs game and you ended up helping the Spurs win 98-92 over the Jazz then in your season, the Spurs will have the victory.
So, Dynamic Season covers the actual NBA season from wins and losses, to PPG by individual players, to injuries and roster changes during the year. But you have the power to change results by playing the game.
Does that make sense?Last edited by CMH; 09-17-2009, 03:55 PM."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Dynamic Season & Live Run details
I think Dynamic Season is the answer because all people ever talk about is realism. What can be more realistic than the actual NBA results?"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: Dynamic Season & Live Run details
If you go back and play a game where a certain player was injured mid-game in real life, would he or would he not be available in the replay? Or maybe he would be available and you'd see the actual injury occur. :wink:Comment

Well, lets not go ahead and poke fun at you, GSW.

Re: Dynamic Season & Live Run details
You follow the NBA Season so you can only play the games from the specific date or from dates prior.
The purpose of the mode is to have player performance mirror the actual NBA Season. If you played in the future, you wouldn't be using players that mirror their real life counterparts.
But, this is for those people that like to play day-by-day alongside the NBA Season. There is still an ability to use Dynamic DNA (which is essentially what Dynamic Season is, just inside a season) in the regular (original) NBA Season mode."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Good question, but no. He will be available in that game. Recreating the injury would be sick though.Comment

Re: Dynamic Season & Live Run details
Word. Not to mention the in-game presentation is aware of your season. If you make Nate Robinson the leading scorer in the league, Marv and Steve will talk about it.Comment

Dynamic season sounds great, but I'm still wondering if we can play any game in regular franchise. Beluba, can you please give this piece of info up?Comment

Re: Dynamic Season & Live Run details
Okay i think I'm getting it now. I was also under the assumption you could go ahead of the nba schedule. Interesting. So you are not controlling a specific team all season but say you can jump into a cavs game and play as Lebron then jump into a Lakers game and play as Kobe right? Sounds like this should be the default mode once you leave the hangar that way you can go straight to the updated stats if you like. One question is it possible to create your own player in this mode?Comment
