Im just wondering for whoever has the game, does the star player on the other team actually dominate more? ie. if im playing the lakers will kobe actually look to score often? and if not is this somthing dynamic dna will do?

hey guys,

im not sure if it had been asked before, but is dynamic season free? I just bought FIFA 10 and saw that their Live Season requires you to pay which blows. Am really looking forward to playing with real data and scores. Sorry if it has been asked.

Great question and I'm not certain i have played long enough to answer definitively but I think I have played the longest including my time at ea.

With that said I would say it depends on why you play basketball videogames. While I have said all along that live is a game to be played and not to be watched. Live's foundation is not based on animations.

So if you a guy who wants to see the game animate and keep showing you different stuff and want to see everything "look" right. Then maybe live won't hold court for you after you have seen it.

Do you get tired of seeing stockton and malone run the pick and roll ? There are only a few possibilites that CAN happen each time they run it right ? But the beauty is that they have to make the right decision each time against opponents that will try different things to stop them.. That is kind of how live is. Since its built on basketball fundamentals (not perfect) if you really love the game and the science of the game you will not tire of it.

So for me its the opposite. The more I play the more I am able to see these small adjustments the cpu is making. the more I appreciate the game. It stays as fresh as watching your favorite nba team do it for 82 games. You know what they are going to try to do right ? You have seen all your star players moves and dunks but you still get excited when it happens.

That is a very exciting thing to me. Why ? cause they can always add animations but the animations are NOT the foundation. It's like Pared was saying to us about those of us who like the defense this year will really love it once they flesh it out with more options for us (our argument was that its just fine now).

I didn't play the fifa 10 demo and I have only played a few games of FIFA 10 but im enjoying it. It feels a little more responsive for me, have a bit more control. Did an awesome play earlier where I played a lofted thru ball into one of my players and headed forward for myself in a contest and banged it home. Just felt like I had more control over what happened compared to 09 for me.

Anyways back on topic. That is great news! Thanks to the guys letting us know about the final version. Really appreciate it and it has helped me make my decision!
