No one answered my questions.

Are there lockers for rosters and/or sliders this year?

Oh ... and another question - on NHL 10 we can use custom soundtracks. Does NBA Live offer that?

I love that feature - because the music on NHL 10 sucks ... and I suspect it's no different on NBA Live 10.

Dont see any lockers for sliders, nor any way to add custom music

In the Denver vids that Da Czar posted, the CPU held the ball quite a bit in the Lakers offense. It wasn't really that way in the demo. I can't think of a time that they held the ball til the shot clock was running down. Is it like that constantly? Or was that just a certain point in the game that they wanted to ISO?

Can't wait to get my hands on the game. Hopefully tomorrow.

Thats awesome! And your right about watching videos of Live 10, it doesnt do the game justice. The feel for the game is amazing, possibly the best feel of any basketball game I have ever played. & I only played the demo lol.. Thanks for answering my questions 23

I find it easier to play the baseline cam for dribble moves if you want a relative type control

That GSW clip was for CV so he could see that the guys do either throw the ball to the man nearest the other side of the basket (I didnt show that) or they will break on you if they can... IF they can

Fastbreaks don't look very smooth, but at least they are in there this season The CPU still seems to run it's wingmen to the 3 point line predominantly, but at least your vid shows they can go to the hoop at times also. Last season was so frustrating, so it's good to see they've fixed it up somewhat. I guess it also depends on team styles also / DNA.

Thanks again...I am still torn between which game to run with this season. Great choice to have though

Thanks for that piece of info. I'm disappointed that the direction of the dribbles moves can't be dictated by what you see on screen. It just doesn't feel intuitive or natural when the dribbles moves are absolute. Guess I won't be using the broadcast cam much. It just grinds my gears. If the left stick corresponds with the what's seen on the TV screen, the right stick should be the same way.

Like, is there an injury report, stat leaders, stuff like that.

09 was great for me until the injury bug creeped up, I'm not asking you to sim out or anything, but last year if a guy got hurt in a sim, he basically died and never came back. Ruined the game for me. Not to mention no one on my team could get hurt except during a sim. Very odd.

You can choose a fantasy game lol I see bron on the green screen doing his camera take a picture pose.. I didnt know that was in the game

Started a game but didnt hang out there though, just wanted you to know thats an option. Someone asked about fantasy games


Start Dynasty, pick you team

Choose season or dynasty mode

random or real nba schedule

minutes

choose the 1, 3, or 7 game formats

sim intervention - no or off

sim injuries - yes or no

sim special events - on or off

fantasy draft yes or no

2009 NBA Draft yes or no

draft order - 2009 draft or random

team schedule events - auto or manual

scouting - auto or manual

roster management auto or manual

salary cap restrictions on or off

modify CPU rosters on or off


shows 2009 draft order

CPU picks.. its just a menu but teams cycle through their picks

They have the draft photos of rooks, they have a few of the players they created and some sihlouettes for you guys asking... its a mixed bag of rooks.
Not sure if its becasue some guys were undrafted at the time or what, im not sure.

Pick your man, shows you his pic, his grade, and info weight, age, etc...
and team weaknesses on a menu

You can skip the CPU picks and exit the draft if you'd rather not go through the process, but its all on a menu, shows you every player his grade, attribute grades like Rebounding B- for example.

Then you're on the screen where you hire your staff.

You can then sim days if you want.. enter academy for training camp : )

practice whatever 5 on 5, 1 on 1, fastbreak... you guys know the deal

Next screen after all training camp days is choose the direction of the team.. make the playoffs, win it all, win the division, etc... under rebuilding, up and coming or contending... saves at this point

Then you have the menu where you see league leaders, team standings, team leaders

below that is the Todays news with some capture like "Dirk believes mavs can win it all this season"

under that is ESPN News headline
Knicks should have good year with Griffin leading the charge

okay so from here I simmed alot of game to play against the Knicks in January
in the same menu of course

In between that you get to choose the power rankings to look at them if you want on a tmobile sickick screen.. trade offers come up,etc... power ranking updates. This is simming up until JAN remember

Start a game ... loads from training facility

camera pans on Nate dribbling, then dalembert in warmups... nice close up

Overlay of upcomging games through the month for your team pops up


Talks about Harrington coming from highschool and his ability to knock down open jumpers as he shoots fts

Didnt play much longer, but I didnt notice much different commentary from playing a half.

no the ball doesnt always swish, it goes around the rim, it goes in and out, it swishes.. I think they did a great job

Also, the ball skipping in the rim during fts is not there. By skipping i mean barely going in and grazing the rim on the way down.. someone asked about that

@Tomba sliders if you jam the stick will move twice, gently move it, or the D pad and it will move once

12 minutes baby !!! out of the box

i had one game start of the fourth qtr the score was 69-64.

had a cpu vs cpu game finish something like 88-80 or 90-80 both teams shots below 40 percent.

finally after all this year real stats out of the box
this+final improve over demo = no brainer

I went ahead and finished the game Ex

Commentary picked up so you'll hear some new stuff from Kerr

When the game is done you get to look at the top 50 plays or whatever from the game so you can pull up any of those replays and look at em again

They were showing all kinds of replays during the game

Player of the game, dunk of the game, hot man in the game, team plays, qtr end highlights, halftime highlights...sheesh... I love it

When the game is over they showed me in the main menu screen the

player of the month

west player of the month

east player of the month

east rookie of the month

west rookie of the month


ESPN news headlines and team standings

All star weekend, they'll tell you which of your players if any of your players have been chosen for the Tmobile rookie challenge game

Then show you the all star game players chosen and lineups

In the all star game you get a story line and it shows to watch (Told me bron vs Melo) in an overlay while Kerr mentioned a couple of tidbits... im sure thats somewhere in season mode.

Saw some stuttering when CP3 drove into a huge crowd and tried to force up a shot but nothing too bad or game killing. it was the first time I saw anything like that, but it was nothing I havent seen in any other game before.


Frame skipped because I slowed it down too low too fast but this is the last clip for the night
