cpu vs cpu defaults to pro i believe don't think you can change it without starting the game as a human first and i have no idea if after that it switches back.

wow i didn't think the video was that bad. Especially compared to some of the others floating around out there. Anyway its not worth it to post any more. people take one game and now everybody shoots fast ? WoW.

This game is incredible deep from certain perspectives. Like i have been saying since i came back from ea. If you want a game to just watch and analyze this aint it. But when your playing and trying to win you see some really authentic basketball things.

before i posted this nobody was sure if teams played to their tempo. here is a video proving the opposite of that and now its every team takes quick shots.

for my man pm your not hurting my feeling bro I didn't make the game. As I have said a few time it should not be a total loss for you since 2k does a lot of what you wanted live to do.

So this is not a defense post its just a wow i didn't think the whole house was burning post. I know I and others have had some incredible strategic battles but if i post 48 minutes of footage all you'll look at is somebody standing out of bounds for all of 60 seconds of 48 minutes. i have said all along the game is not perfect but my thing was play basketball.

here is a recap i sent someone on email earlier.

"Check out the end of that game. paul was working the pick and roll all night. we are tied and he comes down and runs the pick and pop with stojaovic(sp) He J hit nothing but bottom and were down 3.

I come down with mr big shot and run a screen roll with nene. get a little room for the 3 and big shot is draino ... tie game.... We get a stop then I come down and Iso for Melo with the mismatch on peja. i go between the legs twice then explode to my left for the hanging fall away J... Bottoms with .02 left. The get a shot off and miss... melo runs over to someone and does that olmypic double hi five salute and they run off the floor...
It was crazy.

Paul finished with 19 and 6 assists Okafor had 16 and 10. And posey had 15 on straight garbage points peja had 11 and we boxed up west.

For us Melo had 28 and 7 boards and billups had 24 with 5 dimes jr had 16 and nene had 14. it was a strategic battle all game long. we came back from down 13 early in the 3rd. My bench had no help for me for like a 3 minute stretch and that hurt us but we recovered.

I have never had so many turnovers in a videogame. I had 25 we held them to 41 % fg while we shot 46.1. Great friggen game man."

it was 48 minutes of back and forth. did someone step out of bounds ...probably... Was there a few wacky animations.... you bet... but was that at the forefront of my mind as i tried to stop the pick and roll ??? or as i wiped the sweat from my fingers after the hard fought win ??? hell no. I had a blast playing basketball using real baskeball strategy with real playsets and plays...

i have one last user vs cpu game I may upload tomorrow but after that I'm threw with the videos i think... dre can pick up from here and the other guys will chime in saturday.
just my 2 cents.

PS I am in no way asking anyone to overlook legitimate complaints. but is that really all you see there is my question.

I would just like to thank you for posting this, especially the email part. That feeling is exactly what I'm looking for.

That was sweet! I wish all contact animations followed with a natural looking shot like that. In the demo it felt like they were either repeated over a lot, or it was some kind of circus shot.

Was that CPU v CPU in the Knicks/Warriors vid? Almost every time either the PG took the shot or the first guy to whom the PG passed took the shot. There was hardly any posting or moving the ball around. I've noticed a lot of that with CPU v CPU play.

That is exactly how Knicks play. First open shot, take it.

Wish i could have been around to ask questions last year before Live 10 was released.....but they (EA) guys very rarely visited Sportsgamers.com or NBA Live Forums.com we were pretty much left out the loop when it came to Wishlist threads and things.
They did a damn good job in Madden and NHL 10 so i can't complain much.

Anyway...thanks for taking the time out to showcase vids Czar. They're crazy! My Knicks couldn't buy a bucket.

Guys I'm basing my upcoming statement based off. [1] Retail Copy of 2K10, being really sick so not really gutting the game like I want to. I only got 1 game in yesterday the rest of the time I was in bed. [2] Demo and a couple of Videos, mainly the Knicks/Warriors. Gotta say. The competiotion is really close right now. IMO 55%-45% in favor of 2K10 and again that's because I have the retail copy. BUT DAMN DAMN DAMN Live looks DAMN DAMN good and the gameplay looked better than what I have seen up to this point.

Hopefully I feel a little better today after taking these antibiotcis and they kick in. Again. Thanks Czar for the Vids. Peace!!!!

Is it me, or was the commentary better last year. I would've never imagined it to be so weak. Honestly though, I think my mind tunes out the audio (especially commentary) after a bunch of games.

LOL this what I was thinking when I was watching the game. Some knicks fan help me out but I swore I heard their head coach say when he was phoenix that they like to try in score in the first 7-10 seconds of the shot clock...

What is hilarious is this game had a 35 to like uhhh 15 or something first quarter and they both ended the game with a total score of less than 90 with the knicks coming back to within 10...

They started off hot and got ice cold both shooting under 34% for the game. It was great to watch in that aspect.

listen let me restate this. I have no problem with people pointing out what they dislike about the game.

Its just I was on here not playing and answering questions and uploading vids and capturing them from 7:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. I was getting a little tired and though guys might be overreacting a tad bit. My apologies if I stepped over that everybody should be able to voice positive and negative opinions without being attacked line because I do believe that.

Please notice who EA sent the game to for this community. Sage HATED live. I refused to do videos for them for years. Dre and Born are guys who KNOW their basketball. The could have went another route and If we were like its WACK it would have been a wrap for them. So I give them credit for taking a chance with that. However I think that also points to the direction of the game. They went SIM this year. Its going to take an adjustment.

we have never really played a game that so closely mimics the true pace of an nba game. On youtube some people were posting that the knicks Golden state footage was boring... I LOL real hard cause that is why those games are NOT sold out.... that is nba basketball not video games. video games are exciting everytime down the floor right. But when you watch the lakers on TV on some nights kobe does NOT iso to death he just stay withing the triangle and they set it up and run it to death...

It not all dunks and excitement but that is the real nba. There is a reason Bucks vs the Nets are not playing on christmas cause it would bore the hell out of the average viewer. Yet some of us could watch that whole game and be entertained by the BASKETBALL strategy that occurs and the mismatches and how coaches use certain plays to lul you to sleep and then run a diff option in the 4th.

If you guys are unable to see the beauty in a sim. It will go away and i def don't want that regardless of what game it is we want them to cater to us not cheesers.

I have been amazingly consistent with what I have said. It's a game to be Played and not watched. The feeling of the control is soo much apart of the experience.

Anyway just wanted to get that out there. Nitpick away. But also recognize good baskeball when its being shown. I have yet to see a more aggressive cpu offense than what you saw in that opening sequence. Remember the days when you would see the cpu open and you would hope they would attack ??? but they wouldn't.. That did not occur in that video. LOL and I for one loved it !!! So I'm back and rested and ready to get my velvet hoop on.... Carry on Family !!!

i forgot I came bearing gifts. This is NOT my best playing fellas but here is some user (denver) vs cpu (lakers) action. I captured this when I got off the forums around early so i was very tired. At any rate have at it.

one thing to note. The lakers have a huge size advantage notice how they wait for that post interchange and try to bang us inside. Melo had a terrible game and I had to find offense elsewhere and struggled later in the game.

NOtice the difference of pace between this game and the kicks gs game. Also please rest assured Kobe led all la in scoring in this game.

also notice out of the same set they tried to bang us in the post. notice they also goto kobe and Fisher on down and up screens. It looks the same but they move personnel and attack you from different places out of the same set... Nasty basketball action right there. you have to figure out how to stop it.

Also notice my difficulties scoring inside with nene over the taller defender. Now with melo stuggling that puts me in a tuff situation. Do i stay with the jumpers and run more plays for JR ?? If I do can I maintain that over the course of 48 minutes ??? in my mind I was having a blast. We lost this game for that reason. And lakers offensive rebounding. our j's fell for 3 qtrs and went south in the 4th lost by 15 I think
