exactly. where's the dna and synergy stuff being implemented here? i thought that was the whole point, so teams and players would play like their real-life counterparts. there is nothing in these vids to suggest that this stuff is actually being implemented.

You guys can sit here and make comments as if we are dumb or something and don't understand the game of basketball or watch basketball.

I don't know about the other guys who posted or commented on that video but my reactions to the video was 100% honest and YES IT DID TAKE INTO account the Warriors and Knicks real life tendencies.

and since were speaking of real life does the NBA allow guys to blatanly step out of bounds anytime they want and not blow the whistle?

Does Beindrins is real life take that shot we saw early in the video?

Some people can't defend it and say DNA hasn't kicked in yet and I'll say again what part of the DNA has changed from Live 09?

I highly doubt Beindrins game over the summer changed and I've played enough NBA Live over the years to know already that some of these things are going to be pretty consistent with what that video showed no matter how much people try to convince themselves it was just a rare occurence.

Like i said responce to that Warriors vs Knicks video was legit and if someone wants to debate with me that my responses weren't accurate then go ahead. But read my post and tell me specifically what part of it was inaccurate. But don't come on here assuming that all of us who had complaints in regards that SPECIFIC VIDEO don't know basketball or watch basketball.
You are annoying now. You don't know everything. I doubt you even played the demo of either game. Why is your opinion better than those opinions of people who played the game? I don't mind if you state your opinion but you don't have to act like you are the best ever.

The only out of character shot that players consistently take is PGs going against big men with layups in the paint.

But if PIP is your concern, Live isn't where you want to start complaining, that's for sure.

Alot of people on both game boards are expecting too much IMO. It's a video game, there's no way everything we want can be in the game. I think sometimes you guys want it to be TOO realistic. As long as the CPU isn't hitting every shot on me I'm good. Some people won't be satisfied no matter what, I mean it's like y'all want to be watching an actual NBA broadcast. If that's the case the season starts soon.

I only played the demo on Superstar and I was very impressed with the different type of games I was getting. There were times when the computer was putting up points with ease and others when I'd drop a 10-0 run on them. While the A.I. was good, it didn't feel cheap. I could see myself beating some of the powerhouse teams on that difficulty with my Knicks if I play a smart game.

Not feeling the game from the up and down camera angle. The animations do not look as smooth from that view.

so expecting the cpu to actually run an offense and move the ball instead of dribbling upcourt and holding the ball for 20 seconds 4 out of 5 times is asking for too much?? especially when people are paying $60+ for said experience?? i already said i think user vs. user games are gonna be a blast and all the new features that have been added look awesome. but anyone looking at these videos with an unbiased opinion should be able to see some glaring flaws which breaks the experience of playing vs. cpu. if the issues aren't patched there is gonna be a hell of a lot of complaining.

Same here... I have been getting a fair shake every game I have played on superstar. (Demo of course)

Both games have flaws and things that will make you scratch your head...for me, one game gets my heartrate up and pulls me into the game...the difference is the arena atmosphere, crowd noise, and Marv for me...

Glad to hear the positive impressions from Born and GSW too, guys whose opinions I really trust. I played the demo again last night and had a great time... really gotta get my hands on this.

Baseline camera doesn't bother me at all and will probably be how I play since it keeps the dribble moves a little more stable (when the controls get backwards when you're attacking from the other side, I always screw it up) and replicates the play art more closely.

You guys been getting some mileage out of the off-ball controls? Seems like that was one of the best ways to get open looks in the demo.
The Game is nothing liek the Demo,

It is way better..IMO..and with the patch, and once the Synergy Data starts flowing.

                      Mind BLOWN!

Brandon Jennings is so far my favorite guard to play with, although Monta was really really good too...I need to check Russel Westbrooks dunk rating because i was in position to bang on some heads and he was laying the ball up, in fact i dont think i dunked once with him even on Fastbreaks, coulda been user error though.

Could be true but if you go play the other game you'll run and gun for 60% shooting every game (even with slider adjustments - trust me) so take your pick...

There's no doubt Live is better from the standpoint of better FG%. If shots hardly ever miss, a basketball game feels cheap. The other game seems to do a better job of the CPU moving the ball around, but it errs on the side of too many pinpoint passes into the paint for layups, dunks and alleyoops.

yes, i own the other game, and there are definitely flaws in it, which i can address after more time with it. but we're talking about live here based on its own merits. i will be purchasing live as soon as it's available to me, but as of now i actually feel like i have more experience with live as gameplay vids and info have been around for awhile now. i've also played the demo extensively and have seen the same flaws that are apparent in the vids.

                                Told you about Jennings!

Westbrook can dunk. Don't like his speed rating though He's two points faster than Billups, the same speed as Kevin Ollie and 14 pts slower than Chris Paul

Same for Rose, Telfair and Jennings. Non All Star players are almost universally slower than All Stars, even when the All Stars are old.
