Are you guys running set plays or just moving the ball around until you get a guy with an open look?

Yes. You can do both however. Your success hinges on you calling plays, IMO.

Man, I have to give the Live team credit on the intelligence of the CPU defense. I wanted to get that Wade achievement on All Star for dropping 55 on the Knicks or whatever it is.

I had 30 by the half.

Those fools proceeded to double team the hell out of me. Not the stupid video game double team where they trap me and leave a wide open man. Oh no, not Live. They did the double team where Nate is halfway between me and his mann, Chris Quinn, and is forcing me to choose a direction to go. The moment I make a move, Nate runs over. When I pull back out, Nate goes back to Chris. And that's just phase one of their new anti-Wade repellant scheme. They also are dropping off of Magloire(see how much it sucks when your teammate's are trash?) and clogging the paint after I beat Nate and Chandler, effectively forming a triple team wall straight out of the Thibadeau handbook.

It was sick.

Only complaint is sometimes they slid themselves into a position they hadn't earned defensively, and a lot of those slides were very obvious and bad looking. The vid is shocking. Still, the AI defense was flat out brilliant, and by far the best I've ever seen in a basketball game.

This doesn't work on the Thunder because KD is a god, and Jeff Green can take over when they overplay Velvet Hoop.

cool, did the Knicks win?

not for nothing, but in the stephon marbury experiment i am doing the knicks finished in the 5 seed.

and in games vs. the lakers they won one out of two, two times during the Starbury Ex.

It was a close game, but I stopped it in the 4th when it was apparent I wasn't getting my achievement. They were overplaying Wade so much that it was pretty easy to score with Haslem, O'Neal, Quinn and Chalmers.

Relatively easy, anyway. They were busting their digital humps trying to stop me, haha.

Hey Born.....sorry I missed you Sat.. But yeah, ive had Timmy go darn near scoreless in the 2nd half when the cpu adjusted on a couple of occasions...while i was annoyed at how they did it at points, you gotta love the AI adjustments..

Is anyone having decent stats at all without playing 12 minute quarters? I want to pick up this game tomorrow badly, but just don't have the time to get in multiple seasons if games are taking 1.5 hours each to complete. I'm assuming with the heavy emphasis on sim-style basketball (which is awesome), 12 minute quarters is going to be the only option for decent statistics.

Been playing NOTHING but 2k since Allen Iverson cover days and after playing the demo I knew it was going to be Live for me this year. Thanks in advance!
