Played about 5 games last night. All on superstar and all 12 min qtrs. This game is out of the box the best basketball game to date. No messing with sliders to get things right. Maybe fouls need to be bumped but, that's it.
I wish you could pick who you wanted to be in the Hangar but, it's still nice to use who ever is in there. Steph Curry may have the sweetest jump shot I've ever seen. Like water...
I'm going to mention this only because I thought it was funny. I'm playing last night and my fiance comes by and asked what happened to the other game. I said which one? She said the one that looked real. She was talking about the 2k demo that I was playing the other day. To her that game looked like a real NBA tv broadcast. She said Live looked like a video game. She's not big into sports but, she knows who star players are.
Anyway, sorry for that. I've have to put some more time in with this game. I like some things and I hate some other things. Blockin and rebounding could be a little smoother. Still seeing some balls bouncing on the floor and people are standing watching it bounce.
Another thing that I don't like but, it's me that has to learn the game a little more is the passing to random people. Sometime I want to swing the ball around the perimeter only to be a second late in doing so. What happens is the players have so much off the ball movement that I end up passing to someone who's getting ready to cut. Then the get the pass in the lane running full speed and run into someone else and lose the ball. Like I said this not a bad thing because players are not standing around. I need to learn when guys are cutting and to swing the ball earlier than I should.
Once I figure that out my overall flow of the game will be better. The game is a HUGE step in the right direction for EA and Live. I'm back to play some more before I have to go to this stupid wedding.
