...I do want to say this tho..when you play this game and you want realistic game stats you better play 12 min quarters, you will not get 100 points playing 8-9 10 minutes..Which I think is fantastic.

I did that for the demo as well. If that is all the tweaking that is needed I will be a happy man.

is the game sim basketball? do online players try and play sim or is it a cheesefest like 2k? i haven't played live since 06. how are shooting %'s, one thing i hate about 2k is that the shooting % are always abnormally high.
Last thing, how are points in the paint? too easy, just right etc. for both cpu and user.

Very Sim, Download the demo to see how it plays, Its hard to explain if you haven't played since 06.

Its just bad how I keep treating Mo Williams like a one legged chicked with Deron... man these controls are nice

I have the dude reaching and everything and im pulling up midrange before he realizes I've already did another cross or stepback

Would you say the controls are tighter for the PS3 in the retail than the demo? Im probably not used to the momentum system etc in the game yet but I just felt like I would get stuck in animations at times in the demo.

Seeing the videos being posted here with guys controlling their players so well and getting heaps of space off the dribble, im just not finding that in the demo and I am wondering if your experience is different in the retail version?

Rock, can you provide ANY specifics about CPU controlled fastbreaks in your time playing the game?

I think this 12min qtr. theory is based on the game being pretty much a halfcourt game of ball. Because, the AI rarely forces the tempo and seek fast break opportunities after made and missed shots like they should.

I haven't seen any 3 on 1 or 3 on 2 type fastbreak scenarios in ANY vids posted thus far and this was a HUGE flaw in 09.

12min qtrs. are great and all but, I think if the AI looked to fastbreak more, 12min would not be mandatory in order to get scores over 100.

I have no problems with Live's halfcourt game. It's damn near perfert but, it's not good enough to mask the lack of CPU fastbreaks over the long haul IMO.

Can you touch on your experiences with the CPU AI's fastbreak skills or lack there of?
