    how do u freestyle pass?
You use it by holding the left trigger and moving the right stick in the direction of a player you want to pass.

Its great for those times when you want to pass it to a player without having to stop. Makes the drive and kick game even easier also.

IMO, this is one of the most slept on features this year. I would even say its revolutionary in terms of video game improvements! i will not go back to the normal pass button!

I'm actually more impressed with the off-ball movement/passing. Hold left trigger, and when you press the icon of your target player, hold it down. Then you can use the left stick to move THAT player anywhere you want, and when you let go of the icon, the pass is released.

So I can bring Fisher up the court to the top of the key, then hold left tigger down to bring up the icons, press circle with my right hand, and hold it down. Kobe is now under my control. Using the left stick, I run Kobe through the lane and back out (his defender trailing the whole way) and when he clears, I let go of circle, the ball is bassed to him and I do a perfect catch-and-release with Kobe for two.

It's WAY easier than it sounds, by the way!

Yes it is man that's why I posted the thread cause I was buggin that no one was really saying anything about it.

Oh trust chairman I know exactly what you're talking about shooters like Lewis or Ray Allen are going to be bananas w/ this control. Can't wait to play the full game tomorrow its going to be so much fun to use this thing in an actual game Lol.

Just spent a half hour playing around with it, and yeah like you guys said it's going to be a great feature to use when using Rip Hamilton or Ray Allen. My only worry was that the FG% of those shots coming off screens seemed a bit high. I haven't done extensive testing or anything, but I hit several shots in a row with three different players while I was testing that all out.

I only played the demo but I'm sure the cpu will start to make adjustments to your game.
