Re: Do yourself a huge favor adjust color/brightness
wow. I didn't know people didn't do this on their own all the time. I do it for every game that I play. they are all different. Maybe this is why I didn't understand the game looks

Re: Do yourself a huge favor adjust color/brightness
I'm going to go buy this game tommorrow I think. Da Czar put me over the edge with this news about the colors because I have noticed that Live just seems to flow better in the videos and demo than the other game. The only hold up was the plastic/bright graphics and this will solve that so I'm going for it.Comment

Re: Do yourself a huge favor adjust color/brightness
Thanks Czar.
In addition, I recommend to adjust the \'contrast\' to -1 during gameplay.
Start a game > Pause game > Settings > Color settings (or something like that) > click contrast 1 click to the LEFT (leave brightness alone).
Then on the main menu....re-adjust the color brightness again (EA drop shadow thingy) and the game looks 1000% better.Comment

Re: Do yourself a huge favor adjust color/brightness
if you do the one I recommend you adjust your actual tv's brightness. I was confused on that at first also.Catch me on that #SimNation #SimHangOut Friday's @ 10:00 pm est https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...N7yxMiElOpMl_BComment

Re: Do yourself a huge favor adjust color/brightness
I already have my tv calibrated using THX calibration DVDs yet they still look plasticy to me. All other games look great. I guess I'll have to just adjust my tv specific to this game when I play it and then set it back for everything else. It is not acceptable workaround to me, but I have no choice. An in game adjustment would have been preferred. I see this in a lot of titles and I don't see why EA offered a calibration screen and not an interface to calibrate it.

Re: Do yourself a huge favor adjust color/brightness
I'm so glad my Sammy has multiple visual settings presets for each source. I have several diff presets for COD, Halo, etc.... and now thanks to this thread Live 10 is getting one tonight. Awesome, thanks Czar!

Re: Do yourself a huge favor adjust color/brightness
What works for me is using the in-game brightness/contrast menu. I just moved the contrast up one, and the game looks much better. Wouldn't want to adjust my T.V., because it already looks great for every other game. Just start a game, and go into the settings menu.Comment

Re: Do yourself a huge favor adjust color/brightness
I tried this and I guess I was already good to go. The brightness on my tv is at at like 60/100. I can still see a bit of the backdrop, but to drop the brightness any lower just makes it too dark.NFL:Colts

I have a 24" Dell monitor that I play on and it does make it just too dark for me when I do this.Comment
