Re: Do yourself a huge favor adjust color/brightness
Question for Czar or anyone playing Live 10 on the Xbox 360 using an HDMI connection......what are your 360 SYSTEM display settings for the following:
Reference Levels (Standard, Intermediate or Expanded)
HDMI Color Space (Auto, Source, RGB, YCbCr709 orYCbCr601)
I'm not sure which setting displays best/optimized results. I have a 1080p HDTV.
Thanks.Comment

Re: Do yourself a huge favor adjust color/brightness
Unless you're using a VGA cable, Exanded totally makes your picture too dark, and leaves out alot of detail. Haven't heard anything regarding Source. But, RGB is usually always prefered for the best colors.Comment

Source or YCbCr709
These would be the best options for Hdmi, reference levels all depend on your tv, so just try both and see which you like best.
And Lake is correct about Expanded.Comment

Re: Do yourself a huge favor adjust color/brightness
I kept hearing stephy mention that we need to adjust them when guys are talking about the glossy players. you can adjust them in game but I highly recommend going to
My nba live 10 --- settings --- video calibration and you can switch between color and brightness with the tap of the LT/RT. Game looked good before but it is georgous now. Reminds me of being up at EA.
for brightness there is a white ea logo with back drop shadow behind it. You have to lower your brightness on your tv's brightness control until you can see the logo but not the drop shadow. My tv was waaaaaaay too bright.
It went in one ear and out the other when he mentioned it before but I have seen such a huge difference (could be just because mine was so bright)..You win some, you lose some

Re: Do yourself a huge favor adjust color/brightness
Yea, I just adjusted and calibrated my TV just two weeks ago. Now I used the LIVE version last night and man what a difference it made. Live looks great and I also played a game of Madden which looks better to.
Such a simple fix, but helped a tonComment

Maybe my TV settings are different but when I lower the brightness it looks like half the lights in the arena are turned off."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
