I'm still waiting for your thoughts on how the daily updates will affect these manual changes. Again wouldn't these be wiped out? Still confused.

You are going to have to either save the roster as a seperate file and not get anymore DNA updates in the meantime or

Get your updates and continue changing the agility every time you play a team

or, Do it once then start a franchise and the dna there changes on its own since its your own franchise....

Until then those are your only options unless EA makes the tweak on their server side.

So whats the concensus with this agililty setting then? Lowering globally to 40 or deducting 40-45 from each player?

I've done the former and i think it plays a lot better, but i will try out deducting by40-45, although i'm concerend that some players will have agilty sats in the 10's and 20's.

I think you have to decide whether some 7 ft 300 lb center with a zero is better than that same wall of beef having the same agility as Steve Nash.

Agreed. Hopefully this can be fixed via a patch instead of manually adjusting the agility sliders. Players like Kobe or Wade should not have the same agility rating as a Mark Madsen or a Mehmet Okur. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

Either way, I'm enjoying this game and I haven't even touched the agility ratings yet (and have no intention of doing so).

Anyone having problems getting by a mismatch using these edits? I was Rose and twice i had Z and Shaq one on one and could not get by them. Does that effect this rating also?

NO question they have to use a formula. That will still seperate quick and agile players from the others.

IF it was my call I'd just lower everyone down 35-40 points and that way you still see seperation in the ratings.

It also appears that the fastbreak anticipation may be something to be tinkered with. I dont think there are enough fb's. My question is does the fb anticipation apply on offense, defense or both??

It only applies to offense.

The fast break logic in this game is basically the same as it was in Live 09.

It's really not the fast break anticipation rating though. It's wiothin the DNA system that players aren't reacting properly on the Fast Break. They are looking more to go to spots on the floor and setup because of their DNA rather than using Basketball IQ to get out and feel a lane then attack the basket on the break.

So you have to really do two tweaks and it should make the situation better but it still comes down to EA coding the fastbreak logic of the game as whole. I was surely hoping they would use the Live 06 or 07 Logic of the players which was awesome.

Guys knew how to get out and run the floor and also attack if their was an open lane on the break. I realize some will disagree that no edits are needed in this game but I've seen several ratings that can be touched globally and individually that would make this game something special afterwards.

The only problem is the animations are still limited IMO but in terms of basic basketball fundementals there are edits that would take this game to the level THIS YEAR!

I'm a basketball junkie first and now days you kinda need both games or else you might miss out on something nice since they play differently.

I'm going to start working on Live in the next week or so because after looking at the slider thread no disrespect to anyone but I see somethings that are really puzzling to me based on what I've experienced in gameplay. I haven't posted any yet though because it wouldn't be fair to the Live community for me to just post something without actually testing each slider properly.

Go to edit roster ratings and the 1st one is the global ratings. I put it at minus 99 then put plus 40 to get all of them to 40. Dont just put minus 40 or plus 40.

I must be blind because all I don't see Roster Ratings or Global Ratings, just player ratings. I've looked for 20 minutes and it's making me crazy.

i just tried it and it seemed to be a much better temp.

just go to edit player ratings and it says edit all players on the top.

Just to be clear I agree the tempo is horrible (online), but making everyone's agility a 40 isn't the answer. The game tempo is WAY too fast though.

Online the tempo is so fast it feels like you're playing the length of a tennis court back and forth.
