IF EA finds this useful then they can do the change themselves.

Couple of things

We dont know how it works with the patch yet, but hopefully it does

Also, if you dont save this as a seperate file (therefore using only the current DNA and therefore you wont be able to recieve any more DNA updates with this without re-editiing every time) you will lose everything you just edited.

...that makes it a must that EA has to do it themselves because you'll be doing this edit over and over again without that happening.

I hope I am doing this right, rosters, edit player ratings... edit everyones agility to 40. I am seeing though it makes like pratically everyone have a 99 agility rating, is that how its supposed to be?

totally agree!

As you said...hopefully it will work with the patch...and EA thinks it's useful...they should implent it in their updates because the game feels so much different with it...like day and night...just played chicago vs golden state without the edits...now you know the game can be much better...!

Guys I think we may not all completely understand how exactly the GLOBAL ROSTER EDIT feature works....if it works the way I think it works, or if it works the way I think it SHOULD work, then it should actually work with DNA updates AND carry over from season to season with all new rookies in your Franchise mode.

The TEAM GLOBAL ROSTER editor should simply apply the additions or reductions to a players already established Ratings AFTER the fact. Almost the way the Game Sliders work. Its just globally amplifying or decreasing the ratings that already exist in a players DNA or Attributes for the entire team.

Do you guys follow what Im trying to say?

Simply by reducing verticals you still see players dunk naturally but what will happen is that the perimeter shot blocking even with the slider at default is going to be vastly reduced and more guys can contest shots without actually blocking the shots. No more 6'0 PG's rejecting shots by 6'6 swingmen on the perimeter stuff. No more superman take off dunks that happen at lightning speed every year.

I hate the perimeter block shot frequency on Live. Always have man

The only issue would be that overall ratings will all drop. But that is yet another reason why there doesn't need to be an overall rating

tomba figured it out...I think he has played a lot of games to come to the result of putting it to 40

Lake, when you did global edits, did u move the game speed back to default?

This is one of the easier things to test. I tried it at 50, and it was still a bit too jerky. At 30, the game is too slow. At 40, it's perfect. You can see the difference right away.

I hate that as well. I was playing the other night and I pumped faked TParker with Kobe. And somehow he back infront of me and blocked my shot.

don't mean to be a pain guys but does anybody know the answer to my question? Its under edit team ratings, then make everybodys agility 40 but is it supposed to make most of the players have an agility rating in the high 90's?

No, from what I understand you take everyone up to 99, then go back and drop them all to 40. So everyone has a rating of 40.
