Did they really clean it up in 2K10 because it was never well done in any prior versions of NBA or CH2K.

2K has it.

Pretty sure Inside Drive had it...back in 2004.

Live just doesn't seem to do rebounding well

2K10 has guys upset that the CPU grabs an offensive rebound and kicks it out to the open man.........

I love the fact they are programmed to play balanced that way. In live they play it only way rebound, go back up and dunk or shoot a layup. In fact i'd rather they just dunk because if i see one more big guy grab the offensive board and shoot a damn fadeway shot with no one else around him I'm going to break a controller........

That is one of the most stupid things I've seen in the game. This is why I wish they had PUTBACK dunks in the game. It would be so much more realistic to see. Makes no sense to me have putback ratings and no one can do a putback dunk in the game.

Its definitely unbalanced and not always the smart move but i've definitely seen resets. The bigger issue is just how automatic the putbacks are, they go in at like a 90% rate. I know there are DNA ratings but how about accounting for the paint congestion?

I've seen the cpu kick the ball out on offensive rebounds twice. Shocked the heck out of me when it happened. My thinking is if it can happen twice it can be fixed to happen more frequently. What's crazy is that I go right back up on every offensive board I get because if you delay even the slightest you'll get stripped. So it pays to go right back up.
