With running any sort of plays, u guys are saying that it automatically creates more space and cuts, etc. I've been playing without it and I really have no sense of direction...everything is always plugged up and I'm gettin my passes stolen. Also, why do I shoot such a low percentage? I keep missing a lot of bunnies wit 'Big Al' Jefferson inside that I know he should make. Am I not using the right controls...

thanks for all da help guys...appreciate it!

    1) Your low percentage comes from your shot selection. For example, if you shoot 3s with Corey Brewer and he only shoots midrange shots you can lower your shooting percentage. PLAY WITHIN THE PLAYER'S ABILITY!!

    2) If you are missing with Al, try a different post up move... pivot to face up for the jumper in the post; pivot to face up for the pump fake and drive; try the up and under; try the fade away; are you getting doubled?... because if you are and you are still sahooting that might also be the reason you are making it a hard day on Al

yes and no. If he's wide open with good space sure fire it up! Chances are he'll have a better chance making a 3 when he has space rather than when someone is close to him. Learn to create space through isolation of various plays and look to feed the hot players. If you run a play than requires 5 step but you know this play allows your hot player good chance of scoring on a backdoor drop on the second step of the play, get him the ball then and take the shot. Don't just go through all 5 steps. Capitalize on every opportunity you get.

Spacing is key and don't force. The CPU is programed to punishish you if you try to force the plays. That's why many are experiencing alot of turnover. There's alway a chance to score on offense, it's up to you to disect the defense and take advantage.

With low post, if your player has a good rating and over matches his defender, you 1. Should iso him as soon as he gets the ball in the post, 2. Learn the various post moves. Ex. Lower defender, turn and face him jab or pump fakes. Get him off balance or tap shot button and immediately push L stick left, right, up or down, while pulling LT or RT. You'll see a bunch of different low post move granted your post rating is up there...

I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...

I agree but the more I play the more I discover. And let's be honest with ourselves, today post players with the exception of KG, Duncan, & Bosh, today's players just don't posses the talent and footwork of players in the passes like M.Malone, K.McHale, or Hakeem. Even D. Howard admitted he needed to vastly improve on his low post if he wants to get to the next level...

Hold left trigger and icon button down over the player you want to control. Do not let go of the icon button until you have moved the offball player to where you want and then let go of button to receive pass.

Agree with the OP regarding camera selection. Makes it so much easier (for me, anyway) to play from a behind the player view. Takes me back to NBA2K on the Dreamcast, which was the last platform I really played hoops games on. A big help.
