The patch is going to have some form of an agility edit, don't know about vertical edit though. Someone should hit up Beluba's twitter and check

I try everything but my center or pf always grab close to 15-20 boards while my SF and Guards get lucky to get 3.

you guys aren't doing it right.

beluba said how to do it in some thread.

This is what he said to do, and you'll get rebounds like crazy doing this (yes i play on superstar):

move your player towards whoever you want to box out and WHEN THE BALL HITS THE RIM HOLD THE Y BUTTON. the player will then jump automatically when he is supposed to, so you dont have to worry about mis timing or anything.

best rebounding system ive ever used.

I don't have much trouble with rebounds now. Also, as someone else pointed out a while ago, the player's jump after you release Y not when you press it.

I'm just doing some stuff on my own until they release the patch and 1st roster update. I'm utilizing the time right now to see what works and what doesn't work.

Once those two things are out then i'll release rosters and sliders based on what was fixed with the patch. I don't want to waiste time doing it all right now and then start over after the patch and roster update.

But i can assure you guys the rebounding is much more realistic with verticals being decreased and guys being seperated more by ratings.

As it stands right now everyone jumps and reacts at the same time and like some guys have already mentioned their is no skill required. But atleast with verticals being done properly you'll clearly see D.Howard out jump K.Kaman or Big "Z".

There DNA rebounding ratings can stay intact but the verticals will show some seperation between one guy playing above the rim and the other guy not getting much lift so he has to box out more effectively which ties into the game anyway since players box out on their own.

Kinda like how Shawn Kemp grabbed boards because he was just an atheletic freak with major hops. While Bill Laimbeer couldn't get off the floor but he boxed out and used posistioning very well.

It'll also help to seperate true shot blockers from non shot blockers in the game aswell.

Yup i'm having that same issue. I'm sorry but at this point for as long as these games have been made this kind of stuff should have been solved years ago, but it seems every year it get a tad worse. I've seen players run straight through another player.

Yes the rebound warp, once again another year of rebound issue's. Yeah this year is better than last but that aint saying much. This is horrible and leaves you feeling cheated. It would be a shame if the can't fix this MAJOR aspect of the game.... I'm loosing faith and I've been the biggest supporter of this years tittle.

The rebounding is indeed much better than 09. i turned up the defensive rebounding and lowered the offensive rebounding to 10. Rebounding is alot better for me now.

Yeah rebounding is Horrible in this game... It is something that the developers just cant seem to get right every year with live... No matter if you have position or what if the game doesnt want you to get the rebound, YOU WONT GET IT...

Alos can we get some freaking over the back calls??

I resent the title of this thread because the rebounding in this game was implemented very well. There are just a few kinks.

What I like is that it's solid online user v. user. Off-line it's good out the box. I don't think I will end up adjusting any rebounding sliders, but if you don't like it you can adjust sliders.

The CPU on allstar and superstar are just a little hard to keep off the glass at times, but stuff like that happens on the harder a.i. difficulty in games.
