I think it is just a problem on jumpers. Inside shots seems to miss when you contest them, but it's too easy for the opponent to make a jumper that you contested. I think the game needs to recognize when a shot is "mildly contested." It seems the only way to make a guy miss is to be right in his face, but you should still be able to make him miss if you not totally in his grill but still get a hand up.

Well, don't use the commentary as a cue because you can go inside with 3 dudes smacking you on the head, and Steve Kerr will whine about you missing easy shots...

There are also still too many contested shots going in. I think you just need to make some adjustments so that it is more unlikely to make a contested shot. This way, when you properly contest a shot, you really feel like your defense is impacting the shot.

Is this online blues ? and do you mean for user or you contesting the cpu ?

When I contest the CPU, or when the CPU contests me, it feels like too many of these contested shots are going in.
