I haven't read through the entire thread, so forgive me if someone has already mentioned this, but part of the patch that includes getting hung on the rim when attempting to dunk in traffic is not a nice addition. I would rather see the crazy blocks from behind that I see so often. I was playing with Denver last night and made a great move to get Carmelo to the hole, there were two guys in the lane, they were not in Melo's way by any stretch of the imagination, they were both on either side of the rim and of course jumped up to make a play. There was absolutely no contact of any kind with any player and Melo got hung on the rim. Before the patch, that would have gone down as a poster. Not feeling that part of the patch. Everything else has been cool though.

I have no impressions because the PS3 patch is not out yet. What a surprise, the PS3 getting the shaft again.

You know what Pared... Im on PS3 and dont have the patch yet so I cant speak for post patch, but pre-patch I find that If I attack the basket with my Star players the game is A LOT more likely to call a foul for them than they are for the role players.. Not sure if its me, but??

Yes, it was even pre-patch. It's not an issue of getting the calls. It's the CPU getting different calls post-patch. Sportguy said it best when he said "Lebron calls."

Did a little test. Uninstalled the patch so I could do a direct before/after comparison.

Definitely feels more complete post patch.

Going back to pre-patch felt a bit... empty.

Spent a bit more time with the post patch game and i must confess I am getting used to it. I went down to Pro, but I think I may be able to go back up to All Star soon.

Still needs a tweaking patch though. (All things that need tweaking have been well documented already)

Has the PS3 patch been delayed? I logged on last night and there was nothing there. Wasn't it due yesterday or did I mis-read that? If it's being delayed to be fixed, that's not such a bad thing

See, this is where it's all getting confusing...guys are claiming this is happening...no O/T.

But the producers have said it's only online ranked games?

it also happens in dynasty mode. i contacted the producer day(s) ago on this issue. they are trying to correct the problem.

one thing that i'm about not to be a fan of is the rim stuffs, i had two PERFECT alley lobs, one to Shaq and one to Verejao, and both they got stuffed by the rim. i dont mind seeing it once a game, but come on, its tough enuff to dunk now, at least for me, but that game i saw it 3 times. tone it down please.

I am soooooooooo glad I traded this in for 2K10. After reading all the post-patch impressions I feel alot better. I just hope 2K fixes all these problems soon with 2K10 though. Best of luck to you NBA Live guys though. I've been down that road being on the EA bandwagon for over a decade. My advice to you guys is don't let your spirit down there is a good chance there will be another patch, well at least that is the vibe I am getting. In years to come the Live series will be a force. I can see it now.

If these Aliens and invisible people dont get fixed soon I might be with you on going to 2k. Have not had it since 2k8. I have not been able to buy there product after not making a college game last year. That was one thing they did outstanding. They should make a college basketball game again and give up on there baseball game,lol
