I don't have nothing personal against Chris. I don't even know the guy. It's just the statement he made that I disagree with. I can't disagree with someone without having a personal gripe?

Yes i agree lets keep the posting about this thread because as of now this part of the game is really killing it for me. I mean i know i should stay away from online quick rank matches but to think its still there is very dissapointing.

I understand man, I thought it was eliminated with the patch but I dont play randoms online so i never looked more into it.

This was also in live 98. My boy would always kill me with Stockton and hornecek from the wings. No matter the contest. He would make it everytime!!!! It was hard beating that dude because of it. He knew when to release the button and the hot spots. And he hit over 50% of his 3pt shots from the wings. So this is not uncommon for a NBA live game.

What do you think it is ? DNA issue or game engine ? I mean i like seeing the backstep to create space because in NBA there is a lot of spacing but i would rather see alot more misses when a ball handler shoots over defenders. I dont mind making most of open shots or using pick n rolls but to simply just step back and make shots , its annoying.

Finally...after a few weeks we get a response on this game killing issue. So thank you..of course we'd like for you to prioritize this as it makes the game arcade like and unplayable at sim level.

Fix defense contesting and dont touch DNA or ratings. A defender next to a shooter means drastic changes in DNA

The DNA is correct for all the players. We are looking at some other things with it.

Maybe we are so used to stepping into that elbow three from years of practice (in any bball game) that the timing has been engraved into our thumbs.

Yeah sure, the devs tried different sig shots to mess up our timing but our thumbs were way too clever for that...

I personally believe contestes shot % is not in the game. If it was it would level everything out and it would really feel like defense matters. Hope its fixed soon.
