The sad thing is, I DO believe that NBA is on it's way back, and I do believe Mike Wang will do wonders with this series.

My problem is the manner in which information is being relayed to us.

I will use NCAA Basketball as an example. The original release date was Dec. 1. EA changed it to tomorrow (Nov 18), stores had it listed as Nov 17 (today) and nobody knows when it's coming or when the real release date is.

Why is EA, being one of the biggest gaming companies out there, if not the biggest, so unprofessional?

Hey guys, we're later than I hoped getting our ratings/accessories/etc. update out. I thought it would be good to go tonight, but that isn't happening. I'll update when to expect it.

Once this first one is out of the woods, the weekly updates will be all good.

Garreth....a cynic here would say:

1. EA moved on the guy responsible for this stuff...Marcus.

2. Now the stuff that he was supposed to "make fresh daily".....is being "delayed".

How does that not look like cost cutting?

I know you have your own job to do...and now you're also doing the job Marcus used to do.

And things are delayed / slow as a result.

It would seem that it's clearly cost cutting. Correct me if I am wrong / being overly cynical.

very disappointed...I mean I had fun with this game...but I really need a rating update and because I'm a accessory guy I need them to be updated...I've waited for the update for a few weeks now...I mean whats the matter with that? All the delays are annoying me right now...I bought this game because I thought it is better and because I don't have to update everything by myself...and now this...it is a feature that is not existend at the moment and as other guys said we've paid for it.

You can hold off a customer for maybe a week or so...but than you have to to everything to provide your stuff...and EA you've failed here...bad thing that happend with marcus and I understand that you are trying to find a solution right now...but EA you have to find it fast...don't hold off the customers because you will lose them by the time

...state a date on which you will deliver and do it!!!!!

Ratings were never purported to be "made fresh daily". I'll give basketball gaming another go when these updates start dropping.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think it's too much to ask for a reason as to why fans of this game have to wait even longer for this update, or anything else for that matter.

Everyone here has stuck with Live through everything, and at the very least, please post something a little more formal than this.

State a reason and a reasonable time frame.

You will lose your fans, and unless that is your goal, we're all you've got. Sorry if this seems harsh, but I think we all deserve it.
People predicted earlier that this update would not come out, and I for one did not believe them. The fact that they were right means there is a problem here.

"Since Marcus has moved on we're working on getting the roster update out. Unfortunately I don't know when it's coming since we have a new guy that's going to handle that now and he's just getting himself familiarized with what has to be done. We're hoping you guys get it tomorrow but I can't say for sure but expect very soon."
