Does the patch # 2 fix this issue ? On the pick n Pop , does the screener still follow or go in the same direction as the ball handler or does he go away as he should ?

That would be a MAJOR + if it's definitely removed

I am on the PS3 and I'll have J-Rich on a fastbreak with the Suns and he gets stopped like he's been shot by that force field.

That would really open the transition game up.

Can you 360 guys go a little more in depth with fastbreaks and how they have improved.....I really want to read more impressions on this this.


PS: Did patch # 2 add the ability to use "unlocked" jerseys for online play ???? (ie Huskies jerseys....)

After a couple of more games I'm impressed at how big of an improvement the AI getting to the line is. I know it's not in the offical notes but they weren't doing it much before this patch. They even managed to get to the line more than me in one game (think it was 33-21). Actually had to manage fouls.

I doubt it...I will see when ps3 gets the update, i hope i am wrong tho because seeing the guy stop for no reason is a pain, feels like i m the coach yelling at them not running their lanes hard enough lol

i saw pasta details but i know for a fact the cpu is more aggressive on the drive and they will pass the ball to the open guy alot more, they will try to get out for a quick basket, guys like amrion and smith on the break try to run to the hoop for the pass cpu and user.


the game is harder for some strange reason(allstar), the passing lanes are being played way tighter, all in all i think the game is finally playing off of ratings.

it surprises me that so many people who dont have the patch are posting impressions,

Are you saying DNA was tuned down and the ratings are now the brains behind the gameplay?

IMO the ratings should have always been top priority and the DNA should have been a complimentary aspect to the game.

I'll have to check it out this weekend and get a few games since i haven't touched it in about a month

Can you fellas who have it do a test and try and back down Shaq using Chris Andersen?

Up to now, you can back down anyone no matter weight or size.

I am really hoping this was patched.

How hard would it be to adress stuff like this? I mean, backing down Dwight and Shaq with any player...that stuff dissapeared from NBA video games years ago. Since when was players stength removed?

I got ridiculed for asking for more in the patch...they claimed no one does "two game play patches" (whilst Madden meanwhile got it's second in depth gameplay patch)

It can't be *that* hard to release an NBA game where Chris Anderson and Brian Scalbarine can't overpower Shaq.

No point getting frustarted though.

I'm really liking the game now...I rarely get sucked into collision animations now...blocks look better too...only thing is somehow the game is MUCH harder now...it's tougher to hit outside shots and in general I am getting my a** handed to me on Allstar whereas prepatch I would be in almost every game...good stuff though...

Not sure as of yet......

The game needed it without question before but right now i can't say if it does or not until i get the patch and give it a week's worth of games.

I don't want to blindly make a decision on the gameplay until i've seen what has changed with this 2nd patch.

From what i'm reading in this thread it appears they have done something right......so hopefully what i'm reading is true in regards to gameplay now......
