It certainly is fun to an extent. The lack of a post game hurts it for me though. It makes guys, like the cover boy for example, a non-factor.

Head to head this is even worse. There's no real reason to feed the ball down low. It makes this game end up being dictated by the best jump shooting team... and that's not the NBA today.

This game shines in team play the most. I was (saying because I pretty much have given it up til next year because it wasn't fun anymore with no ranked OTP) one of the best defenders on NBA Live, real talk, especially big man defenders. And you can give a scrub Dwight and he will dunk or lay up on you almost every time. You gotta really try, plus he blocks like everything that he's not even near. If you get the ball near the basket and wait a second... then press towards teh basket, turbo, and shoot... and dude will more than likely cram it.

I don't like Dwight because I really feel his height makes him a weaker rebounder. Someone like Hibbert or Shaq is probably the best. If you can't score in the post, especially in teamplay (not so much in 1v1 because people can double easily, but if you can off ball pass to a guy and get him to catch it...) you are trying too hard. You don't fade away, you don't put your back to the basket... you pump fake a few times and jam it. It also helps to use the jab step move before you go up. If someone jumps, you score. If they don't, it's harder unless you're dwight or Shaq or someone like that... but the beauty is: they WILL jump.

I've played all kinds of perfect position defense, jumping or not jumping... knowing exactly what they are gonna do, and dwight will still get his 20 if the guy is shooting. On great percentages, too. His contact animations drop and when you don't get contact he will either dunk it or make a crazy hook lay up that he has no business making.

In terms of big man game, this game is probably the best. Cheesy players like Bron and Dwight get theirs because they are overpowered, but if you play right and push people around you can easily own the boards and make people miss. Sure, 3 pointers are overrated, but the paint still wins games. Not so much in live run but definitely in OTP.

I love this game, so I hope EA fixes a bit about the 3 pointer and brings back ranked OTP.

while i completely agree with the post game being limited, it already is a guaranteed bucket with a player with good inside rating.

so basically next year we need pretty moves for star players, becuase right now the post isn't an eye sore for lack of effectiveness its just sucks in terms of every player scores the same way everytime

for me, the post fix i would like to see the most is post defense because now its too easy to score from the post game. i can back anyone down becuase the 5 sec or 3 sec isn't inforced strictly enough and strength, weight and post D ratings dont factor in being backed down....

i got smashed last night against the jazz ending my 12 game streak, that dude used boozer, koufos, and okur (yep okur) to smash my pacer front line in the post.

yeah online this game has some life left an it seems now the cheaters and abusers have moved on.

while i completely agree with the post game being limited, it already is a guaranteed bucket with a player with good inside rating.

Nope,just played a guy who repeatedly spin moved with Lebron, Lebron has 24 by the half , rest of the team 4. I quit, screw the DNF % im not putting up with that.

In terms of big man game, this game is probably the best.

I'm beyond ecstatic the Live team doesn't feel the same way you do. This series would continue to tank if they did.

Yea there is really no post game at all. But playiing with Bulls i don't notice it as much if i played with a big guy like duncan
