    1. Is it possible to do a two-step gather and go the same direction. Not a Euro-Step but just straight? So instead of switching to the other side continue with your other step. It helps you protect the ball in the lane from getting stolen and helps you power through.

    2. Will players be able to dunk using their off-hands? Last year players weren't able to and it lead to a lot of warping and ugly animations. Lots of players in the NBA dunk with their off-hand and strong hand. I would honestly hate to see John Wall doing only right handed dunks when he mostly dunks with his off-hand. Some others I have talked too feel the same.

    3. Is it possible to do a step-back without picking up your dribble. Hate it when it happens, both in Live and 2K. I have a video of D-Will showing him do a step-back hesitation and then crossing over to the other side. Will this be possible?

    1. Definitely yes.

    3. Definitely yes.

    2. I'll have to check. I know I've seen them but I'm not sure if it was before we put handedness in the game or not. The weird warping problems are definitely gone regardless. The dunk system was re-implemented from scratch and looks awesome. I'll get back to you.

I WANT TO KNOW IF THERE IS AN INVISIBLE ASSIST WALL FOR THE BOUNDARY LINES? BECAUSE IN LIVE 10 CHEESERS WOULD RUN TO THE 3 POINT WING SHOT WITHOUT ANY WORRIES OF STEPING OUT OF BOUNDS. i think it would be better if is 100% accurate and there's no assist because players have to be very careful and it would make the game play and feel more real overall.
      <!-- / message -->

i see no problem with the invisible assist to help from going out of bounds because without it it would be almost impossible to run to the corner for a 3 without going out of bounds...the scaling on the corners have never been right for videogames..always been way too narrow to realistically use the corners for plays when in real-life its nowhere near as hard.

You guys have definitely added Clear Path fouls correct? There is nothing more frustrating than having your opponent foul you with a wide open lane, and not get reprimanded for doing so. Also, what about tie-ups, and jump balls during the games? Thanks!

And I know that it does not fall under this category, but could you please get rid of pausing in Team Play, and add D-Pad subs? It is really the worst part about this amazing mode. It is really annoying that each team is allowed 2 30 sec. Pauses for each quarter, it slows the game down, and kills the atmosphere. Just make it so that if a user hits 'Start' a screen will pop up saying stay or quit. Also, bring back the All-Star teams for use on Team Play, I received confirmation a few months back from iminurbase, just did not want you guys to forget. LOL

I don't see NBA players dunking with their off-hand frequently so I don't want to see it in the video game unless it's NBA Jam. When it does happen it definitely shouldn't be a fancy dunk. It just doesn't happen often.

I checked and currently players only dunk with their strong hand (or two handed).

I think adding more info to the database to differentiate players who use both would be a great addition for next year.

What if I adjust the dunk? I think I read something about that. Or if I adjust while I'm going for a dunk it turns into a layup?

                  Dang it ...

I'm sorry but I'm going to say this anyways

Who made this decision to only let players dunk with their strong really needs to start watching some basketball and needs to start watching players like John Wall, Lebron, Boozer, Gasol and others play. Very disappointed. Last year it lead to really bad transition animations. Just not realistic at all. Lots of players in the league dunk with either hands.

Don't know if this was answered but will you be able to change you shot in mid with a lay-up as well. I know you can for dunks but haven't heard anything about lay-ups.

reanimator, have you guys decided how you are going to make layups and dunks skill based instead of a dice roll?

With the physics providing a infinite amount of animations, is it possible that with a set amount of dunks that every time we see a dunk on it will look different?

The backdoor cuts and cutting to the hoop needs to be better and the CPU player on your team shouldn't stop when he catches the ball going toward the hoop, he should keep his momentum.

Will the defensive rotations be better ? And can we get the 27 game dynasty mode back

Haval93, I remember being able to do step backs at the community event but they were not as pronounced as Deron's in the video. You basically press the left stick in the opposite direction you are moving and simultaneously use the right stick for a dribble move. there was a nice behind the back step back and a couple crossovers, but I don't remember a hesitation one like that. It should definiely be added, if possible, imo.

Yeah, it would be cool. If it can't be added this year I won't worry about it too much. Hopefully next year they really tackle signature dribbles and give us more options. I'm a PG myself and have a lot of moves in my arsenal, so I will be judge what they give us and they I will write a list of ever dribble move they should add. As a dribbler there are so many moves you can and vary them to minor or major degrees. No game has done this yet, but we see what they give us this year.

Reanimator, will over-dribbling result in a turnover?
