If an onball defender was playing positional defense on a drive and the weak-side defender came over for the swat would his airborne body collide with the stationary body of his teammate?

A player is running full speed and attempts a block on a shooter at the 3pt line, but he pump-fakes and catches the defender in the air and decides to shoot as the defender is airborne and lunging towards him. In real life the defender would either barrel over the shooter or get flipped. Would a similar situation play out in Elite?

If i quickly move from behind a thrusting post player, potentially using his strength and aggression against him, can I "pull the chair" on him?

Can two players box out one person?
Very good questions, looking forward to the response.

Ok so Apparently The Devs Never saw my POst.. Which is an urgent one! So Ill just state again...

Will YOu have Teams MAjor Strengths and WEaknesses?? This is A BIG MUST BEfore adding any other stat in Game. Also Got a Question Bout The Quick Clip 5 Physics REad Below:

I am a Unbiased Die Hard fan of the Nba, and OF SIMULATION BASKETBALL! You guys are doing an excellent Job on Nba Elite 11.. But to ensure your quality as the Best game on the Market here is a tip from a exert analysis as my self.

In Quick Clip 5 Where u Have the defender as 300lb.. Why did the shot go in? And why is Kobe Not fallin on the ground?? If he weights 150 he should always fall to the ground from a bigger center.. Just like Iverson, aaron brooks, nate robinson and rajan rondo.. And As a hardcore nba Fan.. Kobe Jumps toooo High, he is not that athletic anymore.. Make the Best TEAMS in the game have the BESt HELP DEFENSE (like Weak Side Help CONSISTENTLY)... This will differentiate the best from the weak teams.. Also Have real Strengths and weaknesses with each teams.. Examples: Lakers: Killer OFFENSIVE rebounding and defensive rebounding TEAM, with great and the BEST interior paint defense! Lamar Odom, Pau Gasol, Ron Artest, should always be cuttin to the basket when the lakers shoot the ball. This is real Lakers Simulation. Warriors: Fast Break TEam, with HIGh HIgh fast break anticipation, But lack rebounding. Phoenix: Banks on shooting three pointers and heavy pick and roll with Steve Nash, BUlls: Likes to run Pick and Roll Derrik Rose. Celtics Should Have the Best Defense in The game..Magics should heavily rely on Dwight Howard to create open shots for Others(this is Simulation basketball for Magics), Dwight Howard Should have the best block And high vertical. Oklahoma Thunders: Should Be a Fast Paced team.. Blazers Should Be the Best all around team. This is all the Advice i can think of as right now.. If i have any other suggestions i will send you a message again.. Just tips to HElP improve your quality of the Game.. So far the physics look Good, you guys are doing an Excellent Job i must say(previously an Nba2k fan for 9 years. Nba Live 10 was the start of something great).. Just Dont let the Offense be tooo OVEr POWERED.. EVERYONE Loves to play great Defense.. The feeling of great defense is rewarding..

there isnt an infinite amount of animations, there is probably an infinite amount of ways the animation can play out, but not infinite amount of animations. Some of the animations still look like live 10 animation.

How are double teams being handled this year? Last year, when you hit the button, the three players went into a canned animation. I know you took out "two man" animations, but what about three man animations. Will double team interactions be physics driven or are they still a canned animation?

There is no such thing as a two or three man animation this year. Any animation that plays out on your player can be influenced by other players, but there is no such thing as a multi-player animation as there has been in years past. When doubling you are in full control of your movement and actions.

that is so sick!!!!!! in all prior basketball games, double teaming has been broken. Complete dice roll and long 2 player animations. So when you call for a double team will the help defender just go the ball handler and go for a steal? or will he tray to cut off the angle and trap the player with you?

Yes and yes - he will try to move to cut off the dribble, and he will also steal...if the ball carrier puts up a shot, he will contest, get both hands up or block with you. No more lengthy dice roll based steal scenario where the ball will auto pop out after a certain amount of time elapses without passing.

Interesting questions aside from the 2nd one. When was the last time you saw a defender flip over an offensive player when trying to contest a 3pt shot in real life?

I've read that the physics for collisions also plays for interactions with teammates but the degree is probably limited by (as of last I heard) not using it for limb contact.

I'm interested to hear about two players boxing out one player and the "pull the chair".
