The best I can do is control all teams and make the trades happen myself, but this doesn't do the ratings updates or add any of the additional players that are going to pop up during a real season.

I know there must be so many reasons this can't work, but if ANY game came up with a way to make this happen... well... it would instantly supplant CH2K8 as my all time fav.

this is exactly what i have been asking for for years . i want to play my own franchise with up to date rosters. i always start a franchise but then a bunch of insane trades happen during the real NBA season and then i have to restart my franchise because i want to play with the teams as they actually ARE. is it so hard to implement? seems not

The NBA doesn't have as many trades or transactions as other sports. Most starting 5's stay intact for long stretches of the season.

That's possible for the season mode. Franchise, not so much... You would have to wait for real season to end and then what?? For season mode that is possible and that is something both games (in a way) already have. For that kind of stuff you have no influence on anything, you just play the games, so actually we have that already.

Do you mean Dynamic Season? This was a good idea, but was it possible to play future games on the schedule or just all games leading up to that current day? I'm thinking more of playing a franchise and having the option to update the rosters at any time. The stats I accumulate with players that have been traded stick with them on their new team. I did play a few dynamic games and it was cool, but it also used real life stats throughout the nba. I'm not trying to bash that mode, it was good, it's just not really what I was thinking of as far as Franchise with up to date rosters.

That was my biggest complaint about Dynamic Season. They should also have had a season mode where you can play offline and participate in your own multiple seasons that had different results. It ruined the suspsense. I want to play my games and see the surprise of what the CPU is doing. It's nice to see different results every season you play as you progress.

With Dynamic Season, it took away all that.

i like the idea of having the invertation back where when its simming a game it shows u the score of the first, then second, then third, and fourth quarters afer they happen so if ur lossing and u want to go in and win the game in the fourth u can....they had it in nba live 2005

Yeah I gotta agree, Live 10 franchise was very bland. It just didn't have any "ooomph" to it. I don't know how to put it but it was like a pizza without the sauce.
