Um can you please use some common sense. I don't need it to know the game is a joke. It's called information and visual evidence. I don't want to lower myself down to the level of someone with your brain span to babble back and forth when I have already written why Live 2004 will be a joke. I don't have it and don't need it when I have Live 2003 and have read all the info on 2004 and seen the videos. You can't put 2 and 2 together so I can't expect you to understand and realize how much sense I am making. You go ahead and mess with Live but, I was trying to show people that Live is dupping them for their cash.

hey...how hard is it to remove your head from your ***? because you need to do that.

play the game first...then come back to us.

Yes I have seen all the Live 2004 videos out and it looks horrible. Nothing but dunks and uncontested layups and that crappy freestyle control where the dribbles look jerkey and supernaturally quick. Those dribble moves Iverson is doing is an animation and Live is in no way superb in the animation department or any other department for that matter. Don't believe that emphasis on defense they show because freestyle will take care of that quick. Live can have the best animations in the world but the game is an arcade dunkfest with high scores and people that can hit 10+ three's a game no matter who they are. I've played Basketball for real and have played since 5 and I know what I'm talkin about and I'm tellin you Live is so far away from real basketball it's not funny. 2k3's problems have been fixed I garuntee it. NBA 2k3 needed a more face paced game to replicate the NBA cuz it was too half court set minded. VC/Sega will not make any of there games arcady and definetly not there basketball game which is there leading game. You all go ahead and be fooled by EA/Live cuz the game will be crap with high % shots and whatnot. 10-man-motion-cap is not going to work like a lot of you beleive. Those videos prove it by not trying to exploit it's bad defense with freestyle out of control. This is why EA sells like they do cuz you all buy into the bullcrap they talk about. Ask yourself have they fixed the high a$$ percentage shots. Nope they haven't and that's 1 of the biggest problems with the game. Don't bother with Live if you like sports game sims.

I know where your coming from...but don't you think ESPN / 2K has a lot ot prove also? Last year had ZERO double teaming AI + you could call a PICK and go round it to score almost EVERY time.

Yes...LIVE was rooted in parts last year also...but so was the other game.

I prefer the 2K series...but I'll be waiting and playing this year before I call a winner.

2K really needs to work on the AI...which was horrible.

Live needs to tone down the speed...and ADD some D...which were both horrible.

Hell yeah ESPN has a lot to prove. I study these games and do my research and own both Live 2003 and 2K3. The problems in 2k are lack of fast breaks, bad passing, tempo to slow, defensive AI not to good, offensive AI standing around, and post play. We already know the passing is resolved, fast breaks are now not only possible but neccessary, game tempo is faster, defensive AI is better. Don't know yet about AI standing around on offense. I know defensive AI is better cuz their is a bar under each player and it is used for offense aswell but, defensively it will allow for hard fouls and flagrant fouls. This means fast breaks will be contested and most likely result in a hard foul or flagrant depending on the players attitude(frustration) determined by how high the bar level is raised under the player. More fouls equals better defense for ESPN cuz trips to the line are important and can determine a winner or a loser. Don't know yet about double teaming but I'm sure it will be in the game cuz it is an issue that has been brought up to VC and VC will resolve it and they are highly credible in doing so.
