They do have the new center court logo though

Yea thats a fact that we never get respect even after going as far as we did two straight years. Most dont realize but we were 4 free throws (hedo), and a all-opp layup away from leading that finals 3 games to 1 going into game 5.

Until the developers release something like this, the "arcade" comments will always be around. And also those comments about, "its how the user plays" determines it same will play sim or not. Well if that's case, i don't its smart for the developers to release videos playing the way they are. B/C one thing the video are not screaming is "Simulation".
I agree about the cpu thing...that's what I want to see too...I don't play a lot of online (too many cheesers no matter which game you play) so the CPU has to be pretty challenging/realistic to hook me in...

For example, until a patch came along for Live 10 the CPU would have the point guard stand and dribble for 10 seconds waiting for a specific play to set up...you could just walk up and steal the ball if you wanted to...that was terrible and a complete turn-off for me...

Seeing Lebron operate and not resemble Lebron at all = ugly

The sliding in this game is really going to wear on me, stuff like 1:45, where Dwight takes 5 steps passing the ball, in a situation where the most a player can do is pivot. I get that the game thinks he started to dribble but the ball never touches the ground.

Same thing with Pietrus at 2:29, goes from half a foot over the line to 2 feet behind the line without a bounce. The whole "left stick moves your feet" thing doesn't work when it lets you move around without dribbling. It ties right in with that ugly animation for moving in the opposite direction of the hand the ball is in. Most of the sliding and traveling is a result of that animation. How do they decide that they're OK with that animation when they are initially putting this together? If most everyone is going to move the same, at least make them move right.

Stuff like that kills games quickly for me.

Thats not the point this is not the Euro League in the nba rarely does any one do the euro step and i think its even a travel in the d league because john wall tried to do it and they called upon it,...that pro hop is going to be just an easy trip for someone to get to the rim

Not bad but I think I'm turning down the verticals as soon as I get the game. The blocked jumphsots remind me way to much of Live 09 and the players are getting up too fast on the dunks.

The jump should be a little slower to give them a more realistic feel and it'll cut down on a lot of the dunk on other players too. There should have been more contact on those dunks but the guys got up so fast the defender couldn't even react.

Overall its nice to see that transition game is alive and it looks like its going to be just as fun as last year to run the break. The Howard post move was nice too just wish it could have lead to some type of layup instead of a jumper.

Like ehh said, it'll be interesting to see how difficulties affect the game. It'll probably be the determining factor in the demo for whether or not I pick this up. Outside of fouls I don't care for sliders, but the game is supposed to be tuned for Superstar to have a sim experience.

Also, the hop step gather looks bad in large part because it's slow and the player gets pretty high. If it were just like that because the player does it that way or is athletic, OK, but everyone in the game will do it like that and it doesn't look good. I liked the dunk by Carter alot though.

Im sure like myself theres a good group of guys that will slow down the gameplay and call plays and make the game look alot better. These vids are just 2 guys going dunk happy with the game. Im sure playmakers global -50 vertical will fix this aspect of the game like it did for live10.

I love the "this is arcade, this is not sim" comments based off of these vid's. So if i played 2k and went dunkfest crazy the game would not be sim?
Did you see 2K11's video on gamescon? The user dont seem to know how to play real basketball, but at least you can see the realism there. (player movement, dribbling, shooting, etc.) so yes 2k11 is sim bball even the user plays arcady.
