i again have to ask if there is any proof of a real "retail" version, a disc with a possibly printed label isn't exactly solid evidence.

Bigball first off Congrats...and secondly I feel for you man! I was talking to someone today at gamestop about this , and another user on here today.
If EA wanted to pursue this, you, technically are in possession of stolen goods. Might they go after you??? maybe not, but with that guy putting up a six day post on ebay and using the line at the end of his item description, and I quote : "I will not tell where I got it....I will not end the auction early and sell it (unless EA offers me $$$$ to do so)" Thats kind of a BIG F-U to a major Corp. that called for a mandatory recall of a product.
If EA were to go after him I hope for your sake he shipped out your copy before they get to him. Again this is just speculation but by law (I'm no lawyer , but I know a lady who bought a stolen laptop off of ebay and was fined and had the product confiscated from her, she lost out on what she paid and the fine, one more note on it, she is still going after the seller with a lawyers help.)
Congrats and Good luck. I do wish I had the game but if I did I would be hush-hush for a while and would probably play it with my 360 disconnected from the internet.

That would be rather pointless as his I.P. would be already recorded and easily tracked as well as his ebay account. If EA wanted to sink their claws into this guy they have all they need already.

Last copy,currently at $210.00 on ebay with six days to go . I wonder exactly what features will work in the game being that there is no team to work on it, eg: wil dynamic season still work?

BTW, for the dude that won it, I was one of the people that questioned your decision at first but man you have totally made an awesome move buying this game,well done and I will look foward to your update of how plays.

I for one actually love the demo,so was really upse when they cancelled,if you can review it when you get it that would be ace!

This is a great pickup as a collectible.

Anyone who is talking about it being an investment needs to stop. There are far better ways to "invest" your money.

For sure. I mainly listen to them and the entire AOTP for the production. Stoupe is insane. There is still a large community dedicated to finding most of his obscure samples. Vinnie's style is a bit rough for me, but has some creative lyrics. Just thought I would ask.

That's a good question. I've been gone all day and just checked here to see what all had been said. The guy gets the games from a huge distributor. Not sure who all they supply to, but it's for like walmart/target those kind of big time places. He buys directly from them at wholesale. In no way is it illegal, and anyone could go there and by stuff. Then he goes home and sells the games (he buys in mass amounts). He happen to land a few copies before they got recalled.

Hmm surprised you see it that way. So if this game does not come out (which I have better reason to believe), and NBA Elite will not return this year, your saying this game will not have any value? You are very mistaken!

Video Games aren't the same as action figures or dolls. Used copies of Marvel vs Capcom 2 used to sell for a ($60-$90) it was re-released. Same goes for Nascar 2003 and MVP Baseball 2005 (although I'm guessing demand for MVP Baseball has gone down since the Show has emerged to be an amazing game).

And considering this build will never be released in retail, it will be even more of a collector's item.

That being said, I don't think it would resell for as much as he bought it. Maybe $100 maximum. And to be fair, those games I mentioned above were being sold for that much years after they were released because people still wanted to play them because they were still considered the best game in their genre many years after their release.
