Actually i applaud you. it will eb a very RARE game. i'm wondering how many had to be pressed/returned? i don't even know what the value of that might be for a collector in a few years though...

At first I was kinda skeptical for spending that much on an incomplete item, but then even some incomplete rare items are worth money. At first I kinda thought it was a gamble and not smart, but you gotta take gambles when trying to come up with rare items sometimes. All in all, especially if it doesn't get released, you have an extremely rare item from one of the most well known companies.

I've heard some speculation that this game is going to be worth a pretty penny some day. More power to the ebay guy selling the copies...but this is something that needs to be held onto. EA has pretty much came out and stated the game was incomplete. From my point of view, it's going to be hard for them to get it finished by the time Elite 12 comes out. The control scheme is cool, and they shouldn't drop it...but there is a lot that needs to be fixed.

If my wife promised not to chop my balls off then i would be willing to pay anywhere from 400 to 800 for it. (As you can tell i already ran the idea past her LOL)

Just wanted to mention, the game is scheduled to come today, and I am ready for the huge wave of interaction by the community. I will be creating an official topic, where all discussion will take place. I will try to get to everyone's questions/concerns with the game, and will be getting tons of photos and youtube footage up for tomorrow. I plan on covering every aspect of this game to the fullest throughout the entire NBA season. It is a big project so bear with me on it, but I think it will be fulfilling for not only myself but for all of us.

Yeah it's gonna be rare but only REALLY rare unless 11 doesn't come out at all. Then you have an item, but if it's just the first build of a game that comes out in march it's not really a huge issue.

Unless they change the cover or something.

The money wasn't a lot... and it's cool, I guess... but I don't think it's going to be some amazing collectors item.

Open the game up?? I guess you didn't read the auction...but it's just the disc and manual. No case...that's the only reason the guy was able to get it. BigBalls12, good luck on sticking with the game. It has no hope at all IMO. I mean they will eventually get it, but it needs a lot of work. Graphically, it's embarrassing. One of my favorite bugs is that you can make the defense go over and back almost every play because of some step back animation. But you gotta love the hook shots from three point land that are nothing but net!!!

Whoever put in the hook shot move...I hope he got a new job in the game development. As in nothing to do with the game...

Yeah, I am not expecting a whole lot form the finished product. The only known thing that was patched was the insane dunk length. I will really try to rate this game higher than a 1/10, but it might be difficult considering I am a stickler for realism. The servers are not active correct? Maybe we could play, and have them all to ourselves, lol.

And BTW, ILLSmak, try reading. HAHA.

Very much antcipating your thoughts on this game Bigball, would love to hear how they have captured certain teams graphically,I know this is an area where many have bagged Elite but I am still interested,also and to hear whether your NBA JAM code works, hope you get it soon man.
