    So those commercials I've been seeing were a free gift from the network? And same with the magazine ads? Sega must have really nice owners if everybody likes them enough to offer free advertising.

      no you don't. you can fake after a bunny/pro/jump hop. Shaq does it all the time.

            i think he means the tru pro(read lack of fundamentals) hop where the jump stop then take their 2 steps for the layup. is it travelling????? in collage yes..in nba depends on who does it

                  You know, I was going to comment on that post as well but decided to bite my tongue. I truly love comments like this though, or how about the old ESPN [censored you naughty boy] classic "Sega doesn't care about making money, they just want to make the fans happy."

                        Shaq does do it. It's still a travel, but he is the only person a travel is not called on when they do it. In an older post, I posted the NBA rule on traveling. It should be a travel, but he's Shaq and can do what he wants.

                              Cmon man if u think about it, theres no way pump faking after you have given up your dribble can be a travel. When the player stops his dribble, as long as he takes no more steps he is within the rules, during that sequence he can pump fake, fake the pass, go str8 up whatever. The reverse pivot works well for big centers ie. shaq and all the others of old, because it gives them good position between the defnder and themselves to make a good attempt at the bucket. If a center couldnt fake at this point to get his defender out of position or offbalance then there would be almost no point to the move.
