I have not played Nba Live 10 but Yes I am still a fan of Live..I remember playing that game my whole childhood life so I will always be a fan..If there game in 2012 is a great game I will have both Basketball games.

Sadly no. This is the only EA game that I don't prefer anymore. Hopefully when the next installment comes out they can try and sway me back.

Tough for me to decide. After EA ruined Live's progress w/Elite (which I feel was their over-reaction and misunderstanding to why people like 2K) I switched to 2K. This was after being a lifetime Live guy. After I attempted to like 2K this whole season, I finally got fed up w/what I felt was cheesy game play and a poor representation of how humans (or anything) move due to 2K's over the top momentum/inertia, and I switched back to Live 10. The problem was I was blown away w/Live's lack of depth, which was never a problem before switching to 2K. I can now see why fans of either would have a hard time switching. I ended up feeling like I wish they'd mix the two, Live's on the court play w/2K's on the court depth and overall game depth. I still like Live (not Elite) it feels the most like basketball to me, but just basketball. It feels like YMCA, high school, or any other form of organized basketball. If they'd fix that part I'd probably be a Live fan again. As of right now I'm not a big fan of either but I'm rooting for Live. Obviously this is all just my opinion and I don't mean to slight either game.

Im a fan of their crowd atmosphere. This is one of the things the live series did well.

all sports games, esp EA ones, should give you those atmosphere options for quick games and even online custom games.

atmospheres = regular season, rivalry game, playoffs, championship series!!

no reason these games dont have the above, thats what sucked me into nba 10..

yes! Im still team NBA Live, although 2k is a good game, I just always prefered EA games when it comes to sports...and Live was always the most fun to play, not to mention they had all the jerseys, shoes, accessories, etc. even the arenas/atmosphere was 2nd to none, I cant wait for NBA Elite 13

My all time favorite Live was 06.....I loved that game

I remember back in barracks at Camp Pendleton we used to play Live til about 3-4 in the morning and then show up for formation sleepy as hell about 3-4 days a week

I used to spend mad hours on NBA Live tweaking the game and rosters

One thing i will say about Live is that player control was hands down always the best of any B-Ball game.

I'm not a big fan of the 2k series but i will set my ego aside and say NBA 2K11blows anything EA created out of the water in basketball.

But for some reason despite 2K11 being an amazing game i don't play it as much as I would a NBA Live game (weird)...

I sure hope EA gets their stuff right because this used to be my favorite EA sports title and it wasn't even close when compaired to Madden, NHL or NCAA Football.

I still am and I suppose I always will be a fan. I've been playing since NBA Showdown. I skipped a few years after Live 05, but I came back for '09 and '10 and had really high hopes for Elite.

I play 2K, and I love it. Those guys have an absolutely incredible product. But if Tiburon can bring the franchise back to prominence, I know where my money will go every season.

Yes. I really enjoyed Live 10 and of course, Live 95 is still one of my all-time favorite games.

I'm hopeful that the Live name will return (Elite needs to go) and that EA will produce a quality basketball title next year. Don't get me wrong, I love 2K11 (still play it) and am getting 2K12 on release, but there's more than enough room for 2 basketball games, both in stores and in my gaming collection.

Yessir, Live was different. Its nice to have an alternative. I also guess that they bring back the name LIVE for next year.

Just "NBA LIVE" like in the most reboots.

Yea I am still a live fan, dreamcast took me away but 09' brought me back. I think I might be the only person who liked where they were going with Elite, I wish I could find that game somewhere. They have more than enough time to deliver and they better.
