I think out of these two games that the graphics are close enough that they shouldn't be the deciding factor in which game to buy unless everything else is also close (gameplay, franchise, etc..).

I think that this is the case. The games both do alot of things well and Graphics is one area well ESPN does things better. How ever if I know EA fans even as much as live dissapointed them they will come back to the one they are used to if Live's gameplay is as improved as it looks.

I have never liked the Live series, and until last year, was a 2K player (ID 2003 all the way), but this year, Live has me intrigued to say the least. The gameplay doesn't look like the traditional NBA Live, and if the game is as good as it looks, I will give this game a try. So I am in no means a Live or EA Loyalist, as a matter of fact, I have always preferred VC games, but this year, Live has gotten my attention.

The gameplay doesn't look like the traditional NBA Live, and if the game is as good as it looks, I will give this game a try. The graphics are nowhere near close enough in the two games. Live looks like better then last year but it still isn't even close to espn.

The graphics are nowhere near close enough in the two games. Live looks like better then last year but it still isn't even close to espn.

wasn't directing that to you, but I myself wished that Live would return to its top form I mean I been playing the game since Lakers vs Celtics. I am not a loyalist either I like what ever game feels the most accurate in potraying real life ball.
