i love id and will get 04 but i did pick up live yesterday and the game is very tight i have not had the slow down situation people are speaking of at least not yet..but the game is very nice they have improved the defense 10 times over last years's race to 120

I have the PS2 version of NBA Live 04. Its way better than last years game and it is alot of fun to play. HOWEVER the slow down is there and it is noticable and it can be annoying. I would give it a rent if you have not bought it. I think most people will like it. With that being said. I also play ID 03 and NBA2K3 and if both those games have improved themselves, Fans of those games will more than likely continue playing those games. I felt ID 03 was the best last year.

EA did a good job with player animations and activity away from the ball. The defense is good and actually fun to play now. One thing that may be off and can probably be fixed with sliders is the success of jumpshots. I had Allen Iverson spot up for wide open jump shots on many occasions in the few games I played last night only to see him miss. Other than that I dont have any gripes with the game. This is a good release for the Live series.

Love ID 2003, just got LIVE and I am loving it. Great game and a must buy for a basketball fan especally if you play basketball. The framrate does drop and its not bad at all. I don't understand how you could return this game because of the framrate. It really isn't that bad at all. It is definitley there though so anyone who says no is lying because its really not a bother at all.

Love ID 2003, just got LIVE and I am loving it. Great game and a must buy for a basketball fan especally if you play basketball. The framrate does drop and its not bad at all.
