1st change your name back to NBA Live, elite has a bad name image already.
Im a loyal 2k customer since dreamcast but im also going with whoever can deliver the best basketball gm/offline but more especially ONLINE.

I know most of you know majority are complaining about 2k's Terrible Online product.

So plz listen to all of these things n i promise you guys will compete again.

Go on the direction mike wang gave yall for nba live 2010. Make this a sim game. That arcade stuff, doing superstar special button moves that yall was tryin to do with nba live 09 n b4 has to go. Make this game sim.

Do not try and compete with 2k with the legends stuff.. That is now getting stale. If you guys want to make legends a priority make another game for that just dont make that a priority for any of ur series.. Of course have them like a classic teams etc but do not make that as you focus like how 2k is.. Cuz believe me when ppl get sick of playing with the greatest mode etc they gonna be wanting more out of the current rosters..

Fix your gameplay. Period. No gimmicks. Just straight out basketball. Get gamers to help you who knows the sport. Get devs who actually watch basketball not who just looks at stats n gives dirk a 99 midrange lmaoo.

Online will be your key tho. Like how other great shooting games like call of duty etc every1 loves their online but also likes their offline. Having your Online great with improving gameplay will bring the 2k gamers to play it like myself.

For NBA Live 13. Have a Beta for it online when it comes out. Have gamers test it out for glitches, cheeses etc so this can be toned down when the game comes out. O n this is coming from a top Online gamer from nba2k series for years always in the top of leaderboards/ tournies etc.

Online is where you guys will shine. Have Halloffame or watever your highest game level for NBA Live for rank games. Have Rank Lobbies. Save Playbooks, coach profiles, settings, basically save everything that is offline to Online. Have the leaderboards based on who you beat not about how many games u play. Have a spectator Mode. You have this feature n wow alot of gamers will love that.

Have a crew thing like how 2k11 did. Your online dynasty have it great, have online leagues. Have your teamup game nice with teamup leagues etc. So just listen to this n if any nba elite/live devs need help or advice then pm me..

This can't be further from the truth. Everything else you said was cool, but this, oh no.

Legends add to the game. The NBA has a rich history with great players spanning 60+ years, from Mikan to MJ. That only makes 2K better, and sales prove it.

EA is gonna have to compete with that. Definately in my case, if they want my dollars.

I'd also have EA continue with FIBA. That, to me, was the only thing Live 10 (I agree, go back to Live instead of Elite) had over 2K10. I'd kill for a FIBA or Euroleague roster in the next 2K game.

Dude I really wanted to come in here and read your ideas but honestly I couldn't get past all the "n b4 u ppls try 2 come bak" ect. Maybe you should re-edit your post so that it's a little more readable.

And I'm really not trying to diss you man just being honest because it seems like you have some well thought out ideas. The more clearly you express yourself, the better chance you have of the developers actually reading it.

Also, something like 2k share where people could upload/download teams,rosters,etc. would be huge, at least in my opinion. Plenty of customization options would be great for creating players. In myopinion EA locker sucked, not accessible enough. EA has superior online play if they could just get the game up to par with 2k. Just for the record i play both games.

I know EA won't listen to this but stop making new games every year. Create a game with one engine and release DLC for the next 2-3 years until you make a completely better engine. Would allow a full development cycle instead of the crap that these sports games come out with now. This isn't Lakers vs Celtics anymore, you need more time to make a game now and everybody can see it.

This is what has got 2K in the mess their in now. By just adding to the engine they had back in 2K8 and not fixing some fundamental issues, they have created a game that needs patched EVERY year right after release. Also, the animations on top of animations strip the control from the user.

As I've said before, the formula for success for EA is: solid online play, a MyPlayer/Be a Pro mode, and far fewer bugs than 2K has on release day.

I'm sorry but Live 10 had plenty of things which were better than 2K10. There wasn't a clear winner between Live 10 and 2k10

Majority of the players don't care for legends? Really? So why did 2K11 sell so well? Why is 2K12 getting great reviews?

Most of the fans with disposable income are older fans like myself who grew up on those legends, and are happy as hell to be playing with them this gen. Many of us can give a damn about current players.

Agreed 100%. Legends stuff is already pale for me... and I don't even have 2K12 yet. Played 2K11 and loved Jordan challange because Jordan is the best and who doesn't want to relive those moments.

A lot of us people who play 2K grew up watching basketball on colour TV and don't give a damn about you (the offline-adoring crowd) or your bunch of retired old fogey heroes.

Forget the legends (they are a useless gimmick) and save the money you would have spent buying everyone's likeness. Total waste of resources. Just make an awesome CAP system and let us share everything online. Do it like Fight Night, where the user-created boxers were amazingly accurate. The community will take care of it for you. Just focus on gameplay and leave us as many customization options as possible.

I really hope EA listens to the community and make a COMPLETE SIM GAME for online and offline, just make it seamless. Focus on gameplay.. GAMEPLAY first and foremost. Get rid of the arcade look and gameplay. Make realistic player models, movement and gameplay.

If you have time for gimmicks after you have gameplay down then go with legeds and other modes like my player etc. but if you dont have time to add everything this coming year, then make sure gameplay is great and have online/offline association and leagues.

I'm a 2k buyer from day one. I will but your game over 2k if you deliver a beautiful simulation game with good realistic gameplay and fundamentals in 2012.
